"Because you have a gift for it.

Santina replied in a matter-of-fact tone and before Mikael could even refute her words, she already ushered him to make haste.

"Quick!"

Mikael knew that it was not the right time to argue with Santina, so left with no choice, he plopped down in a chair in front of the other party's desk.

"Tell him... Tell him that Anton told you about him and how he had been great at helping the orphanage. You should also tell him that you were sent by the orphanage itself to talk about a community development project that we hope he can spearhead, and don't forget to imply that there will be lots of votes in it for him."

Santina grinned at him.

"You see? A gift. I told you."

She said and just then the person on the other end of the line returned with some news, and Santina picks up the thread of the conversation.
