Kapitel 225: Revealing A Path to the Heavens

Just like a sword with its point slicing the heavens, Yllana's berserker hammered to a certain point in the sky. Her eyes followed where she drilled, certain that there was something in there she needed to see. 

*Swoosh!

The clouds parted for one second and a sliver of golden light passed through where the clouds opened. 

*Boom! It went straight into Yllana's core! 

It was so fast that she had no time to dodge. But she did not see any hole when the light struck her. Her hands trembled and her knees felt weak. She saw a glowing face beyond those clouds for that fleeting moment with a look of… contempt. Somebody up there just gave her a look and she already suffered. Were they… gods?

She was not sure if the face belonged to the opposite sex, but she knew for sure, when that face looked back at her, she had never felt so terrified with anyone's aura.
