Kapitel 240: CHAPTER 240: EVIDENCE

"I'm sorry... I didn't mean to..." Ariana mindlessly apologized for bumping onto an old man. 

She didn't have the heart to look at the old man because her mind was busy thinking of someone else. Unsure why she can't help but think of what she saw earlier----Marcus and the pretty woman.  Waves of mixed emotions suddenly engulf her when her eyes landed on the two people seemingly enjoying each other's presence. 

She can't even explain nor name the emotions surging within her. Her mind seems to be thinking about them that she couldn't even finish her favorite ice cream.

Ariana felt the need to leave the ice cream shop because the place started to suffocate her.

When her eyes landed on the shocked woman, and when she saw how she looked at Marcus for some explanation, her heart sank.

Did that woman think that she could be a threat to their relationship? However, for some reason, she didn't seem to dislike the woman.
