Kapitel 13: Walo
Tagaytay Trip
Marian POV
I'm ready para sa tagaytay trip namin mamaya with Stephen and Bryce. I miss him—No! Ano bang pinagsasabi mo Marian? Wala 'yun! You're just confused Marian, okay?
Kinuha ko 'yung purse ko sabay baba, naka salubong ko pa si kuya.
"Where are you going? It's late Marian." Ma awtoridad niyang tanong.
"Ahm...meet up? Trip? Yup." Sabay lagpas ko sa kaniya.
"Marian-" Sigaw niya.
I saw Bryce outside kaya dali-dali akong lumabas sabay sakay sa corvette niya.
"Are you ready?" He asked while smiling.
I nodded at him. "Yup. I'm ready." I replied.
Pagka sabi ko no'n bigla niya itong pinatakbo ng mabilis. I was aghast about it. Like Seriously? Papatayin niya ba ako sa nerbiyos.
"Fasten your seat belt baka ma fall ka sa 'kin." Hindi ko narinig ang dulo no'n.
He abruptly stopped and she let me to do fastening the belt. Pagkatapos kong masuot ang seat belt umandar ulit ang sasakyan niya sabay patakbo ng mabilis.
Sa bilis ng takbo namin nakarating kami agad sa sea side. Like ganun na lang 'yun? Parang walang traffic sa kaniya ah. Iba nga 'tong lalaking 'to. I saw him glared at me. I saw his erotic brown eyes that making my heart beats fast.
"Baba na tayo?" He uttered.
I nodded at him. Inalayan niya naman ako sa pagbaba sa kotse niya. His car was quite good and fast. Pagkababa namin bumungad sa 'min si Stephen. He wore a black leather jacket terno with his dark blue jagger pants.
"What's up Marian? What's up bro? Are you guys ready to our trip?" He asked while smiling.
We're both nodded in excitement. "Yes. We are." Sabay naming sagot ni Bryce.
I heard him chuckled. "So what are we waiting for? Let's reach Tegheytey." May accent niyang sabi.
Natawa nalang kami ni Bryce. He crossed his arms. "Did I say it wrong?" Curious niyang tanong.
"Bro, its Tagaytay not Tegheytey." Bryce rectified him.
"How can I say it well if my tongue got curled. I hate it!" He said in irritation.
Bryce heaved a sigh at him. "Okay, I know it's too hard for you to say it well but we are here to teach you how to say it correctly." Bryce encouraged him.
I saw Stephen enlightened 'bout what Bryce said to him.
"For now, we need to cut it off but maybe next time we will teach you how to speak it fluently." Bryce had said.
I saw him nodded.
"So, let's go. Tagaytay is too far to herd for." Bryce had said.
Tumango lang kami sabay pasok sa corvette niya. At first I thought dalawa lang ang makakapasok sa loob kasi 'di ko naman ito napansin kanina but I was wrong kasi hanggang five persons ang capacity nito.
Pagkapasok namin in start naman ni Bryce ang engine ng car pagkatapos pinatakbo niya ito ng mabilis. Pero huminto ito malapit sa isang fast food chain.
Bumaling siya sa amin. "By the way before we head, bumili muna tayo ng maka kain." He said.
Bibili na naman siya ng burger steak at peach mango pie kasi 'yun kasi ang paborito niya eh as he told me lately while we're on the bus, eating.
"Bibili tayo ng paborito ko." Sabi niya sabay ngiti sa akin.
I saw Stephen confused. "I can't understand what you'd saying."
Bryce chuckled at him. "I said we buy my favorite food first then after that we can continue herd to Tagaytay." He translated.
I saw Stephen nodded at him. "Ah, okay. I thought you are cursing me." Stephen had said.
Natawa naman kami ni Bryce. "O maiwan ko na muna kayo dito. Bro I just buy out some foods. I'll be back later." Sabi ni Bryce kay Stephen.
Tumango naman si Stephen. Umalis na si Bryce pumunta siya sa paborito niyang fast food chain. Sa bagay masarap naman talaga ang peach mango pie nila, nakaka addict nga eh.
Bumaling si Stephen sa akin. "Hey." He uttered.
I goes my look to him. "Mm?" I replied.
"Ahm...is it far from here trekking to that place?" He asked in curiousity.
I just nodded at him. "Yup from here it got almost three to four hours, traveling." I replied.
I saw him surprised. "Really? Then why we're tiring our time to go there?" He asked in dissatisfaction.
I sighed at him. "You don't understand if you were not there but if you were at the top of the cliff. You can forget to head back to what place you came from." I explained.
He just nodded at me. "Okay if you say so. We'll see." He said coldly.
A short time later Bryce came back and he was holding a bunch of plastics. Really?
Pagkapasok niya binalingan niya kami. "Bro, Marian. I bought foods for our trip." Sabay pakita niya sa plastics na binili niya.
Really, ha? As in? Kakainin namin 'yan lahat? Like what? We're not that thirst anymore.
Pagkasabi niya no'n in start niya ang engine sabay patakbo ng mabilis. Halos maiwan na ang kaluluwa ko sa takbo niya. Si Stephen naman enjoy na enjoy. Really, ha?

After four hours of driving at last we're here in Tagaytay. The scenery is quite relaxing.
Bumaling ako kay Stephen. "What can you say?" I asked him teasingly.
His mouth were widened and it's funny seeing him amazed the beauty of the spot.
"This place is damn nice." He said in grimace.
"I told yah." I replied.
He roamed his eyes to the scenery. "This place is...beautiful." He said in amusement.
"Of course." Bryce intruded.
Tumingin ako sa gawi niya. He's so damn hot. Lalo na 'yung kilay niya. Damn! Ano ba 'tong pinag-iisip ko. Umayod ka nga Marian!
"You know what bro? I really love both of you. Hope we will be friends forever." He smiled at us.
Nagkatinginan kami saglit pero umiwas ako ng tingin.
Ngumiti si Bryce. "Oo naman. Starting from now, you're my bestfriend." Bryce had said.
Stephen just smiled at him. "Thank you bro." He said.
Bryce just smiled at him. "You're welcome bro." Bryce replied.
Pagkatapos naming mag night seeing pumunta kaming Doux Haris Hotel pagmamay-ari daw 'to ng mama ni Bryce. Ang ganda ha.
Pumunta si Bryce sa counter. "Hi ate Grace mag che check in po kami ng mga kasama ko." Sabay turo niya sa amin.
"Ah ganun ba. May available rooms naman pero dalawa lang ito eh." Sabi nung babae.
I saw Bryce think about it.
"O sige, bale 'yung isang room siya 'yung matutulog do'n." Sabay turo niya kay Stephen na abala sa telepono niya.
"Yang babae naman na yan." Sabay turo sa akin. "Kami ang kasama sa iisang room. So, okay na ate Grace ha?" Dagdag pa niya.
What! Seriously? Hindi ba siya nagbibiro? Really?
It still echoed in my mind.
"Yang babae naman na yan. Kami ang kasama sa iisang room."
"Yang babae naman na yan. Kami ang kasama sa iisang room."
Gosh! Are the destiny playing with us...AGAIN?
Pagkatapos niyang makipag usap sa babae pumunta siya sa gawi namin. "Bro, this is your key." Sabay bigay ng susi kay Stephen.
"Ito naman sa 'tin." Sabi niya sa akin.
Really, ha? Nagbibiro ba siya? How can I be prudent in there?
"Wa'g kang mag-alala 'di naman ako manyak like Jeorge." Dagdag pa niya.
Really? Binanggit niya talaga yung pangalan na 'yun? Hayy.
"Who's Jeorge? Your ex?" Stephen asked instantly.
I just nodded at him. I saw him shocked. "Really? Sorry to heard that." He apologized.
I just nodded at him. "It's okay. We're over." I said not to sound bitter.
"Okay." Tipid niyang sagot.
Pumunta na kami sa mga kwarto namin. Ay—kwarto niya lang pala kasi ako kasama ko 'tong lalaking kung maka takbo 'kala mo hinahabol ng pulis.
"So? What should we do now?" I asked undesirably.
"Ahm...dito ka sa kama at dito ako sa sahig." He said.
Seriously? Kaya niyang matulog sa sahig? Sa yaman nyang 'yan? We'll see.
He took a glanced on the wall clock. "It's passed 2AM in the morning." He notified me.
Tinitigan ko lang siya hanggang sa...
"Are you staring at me?" He asked teasingly.
I was awaken. "No! Of course not! Sino ka para titigan ko. Hindi kita type no." Sabay irap ko sa kaniya.
I heard him chuckled. "Talaga lang ha?" He asked teasingly.
I nodded at him in disputed. He gazed at me. "Then? Bakit parang nagdadalawang isip kang tumango? You don't like me? Do you?" He asked eagerly.
Nagulat naman ako sa sinabi niya. "Hindi no! Hindi kita type." I defended.
He raised his eyebrow. "Talaga?" Pagkukumpirma niya.
"Talaga!" Matapang kong sabi.
I saw him grinned at me. "Okay if you say so." Sagot niya.
It's passed 3AM in the morning but I can't sleep. I tried to closed my eyes but my eyes still not cooperating with me. Sa kyuryusidad ko dumungaw ako sa sahig and I wad shocked na 'di pa pala siya tulog nagkatinginan tuloy kami. I saw his erotic brown eyes again. Damn!
He just stared at me. Memorizing each pieces of me. Damn! Ano ba 'tong nararamdaman ko? Why I feel like my heart pound in a bit.
"Still up? Can't sleep? Me too." He asked instantly.
I nodded at him. "I don't know why." I said in irritation.
He just chuckled at me. "You are bothered then." He said while smirking.
Am I? Then why I am bothered?
"You think?" I asked him eagerly.
He nodded at me. "Yup. Indeed you are." He said while grinning.
I just moued at him. "Kainis naman. 'Di talaga ako makatulog, kainis." I muttered.
Ewan ko kung narinig niya 'yun but I saw him closed his eyes. Mukhang tulog na siya. I just sighed in disdain. Bumalik ako sa kama at sabay higa. Am I bothered? I think so. Ipinikit ko ang mga mata ko at sa wakas dinapuan din ako ng antok.

Kinabukasan gumising ako. Humikab muna ako bago dumungaw sa kaniya but I was shocked na wala na siya sa sahig. Naka tupi na nga 'yung mga kumot niya. Nasaan kaya siya? Before I leaved the room nag mouth washed muna ako then after that I eloped the room.
Pagkalabas ko pumunta ako sa Hut ng hotel and I saw him cooking some foods to eat.
I shouted on him. "Bryce."
Lumingon naman ito sa gawi ko. "Marian? Ang aga mo namang nagising." Gulat niyang sabi.
"Ewan ko basta nagising nalang ako bigla at laking gulat ko na wala ka do'n sa sahig." I explained.
He grinned at me. "Na miss mo ba ako?" He asked teasingly.
Miss ko nga ba siya? No! No! No!!
"Ang kapal." Pinagliitan ko siya ng mata.
Tumawa lang ang mokong mukhang hobby niya talagang inisin ako no?
"Just kidding. Ito naman, ang seryoso masyado." He conceded.
I just sighed in annoyance.
