Kapitel 176: Are You Willing To Leave Your Nest Behind?

The children were quick to feel tired after playing to their hearts' content. The caretakers led them to the dining hall alongside the ones who didn't go playing outside.

They were served with a bowl of hot soy milk with bite-sized sweet potato balls, soaked red beans and peanuts. The sweet yet nutritious dessert was well-received by the children who were craving for something sweet yet warming.

"Auntie, I heard you're here to tell us a story. It is true?"

A cute girl with two braided buns came to ask Shouko while she was enjoying the hot dessert. Shouko retracted her hand from scooping the sweet potato and looked at her. 

"What do you think?" She asked in a teasing voice.

"I want to hear the continuation of the story, pretty please?" The girl clasped her hands as if she was desperately begging for something. Her beady eyes gleamed in anticipation, "Where would the boy go on his journey, Auntie? And, what was the box for?"
