In the hallway that was lit only by the moon, there was a small girl walking towards the library with a floating ball of light. If people were to see such a sight, they would surely find it suspicious.
That girl was Astra. This wasn't an uncommon routine for Astra who had trained herself to stay awake at night in her previous life, but because she was still a child, she had to try her best to stay awake.
She yawned as she silently opened the door to the library.
Inside the room was a trove of treasure for Astra. She could learn about the whole world through books in a single room.
She soundproofed the room with her magic so that she wouldn't be discovered.
In the middle of reading a book, she thought of a better idea than using a ball of light: night vision!
Astra imagined the eyes of a cat and was soon able to see in the darkness. She decided to name this magic, "the Cat's Eyes."
As she read the books, she soon grew tired.
(I want to learn everything all at once.)
This desire caused her to create another spell named "Knowledge Imprint." This spell would imprint the knowledge of any material into the brain. The spell also made sure that the brain wouldn't be overwhelmed by the information.
Truly, only Astra could manage such a feat, but to Astra, it was just any other day.
