Yanyan was crying hard so Chen Rui had to cradle her in her arms and help her calm down while reassuring her that she was fine.

"Mommy is not hurt anywhere, baby." Chen Rui said with her gentle voice as she wiped her daughter's tears away.

"B-but... but Yanyan heard..." The child whimpered, hugging her mother by her neck protectively.

A faint blush appeared on her cheeks, "That's... just your imagination."

"Really?" The child looked at her with her tearful gaze, sniffling.

"Yes, really. Your daddy is in the bathroom so there's no way mommy is being bullied, right?"

Yanyan pouted, looking at her mother carefully as if inspecting whether she was lying or not.

Jin Mingze went out of the bathroom after taking another cold shower to calm his raging rod earlier. He was wearing a bathrobe and was drying his hair with a towel.

"Hm? What are you doing here?" Jin Mingze asked, acting all innocent.

The girl turned to her father with a scrutinizing gaze, "Daddy did not bully mommy?"
