Kapitel 26: Penguin!

With Yanyan's help, Ye Shuxin was able to get to the garage.

There were so many cars lined up and all of them can extremely make a wallet cry. One could only dream of having such luxurious cars.

Ye Shuxin thought that she would be able to take the child away.

"Yanyan, do you know where the car keys are kept?" She asked.

The girl shook her head, "No, mommy... but I think it should be in daddy's room or in his study."

Ye Shuxin sighed heavily, "Right."

She would have to go back and look for the keys. "Yanyan, hide, and wait here, okay? Mommy's going to get the-"

"Where do you think you're going?" Haofan asked, startling the two. He was standing by the entrance of the garage.

He was right to doubt Ye Shuxin's words earlier. Judging from the kind of woman she was, she was not going to give up until she gets what she wants.

"I'm just showing Yanyan these beautiful cars." Ye Shuxin lied. "By the way, do you perhaps know where the keys of the cars are?"

"If I do?" He crossed his arms.

She walked towards him and grinned, "Then you're coming with us."

"No."

"Pleaaaaase?" Yanyan pleaded as she held his hand, she was looking up at him with a cute pout, using her charms against him.

"Young miss, I can lose my job if I allowed you to go out." He tried his best not to give in to her charms by looking away.

Ye Shuxin smirked and hugged his other arm, "If it's your job that you're worried about then don't be scared. You have me and Yanyan on your side. We will protect you, right Princess?" She looked at the kid and winked.

Yanyan grinned at her, "Right! Yanyan and Mommy will protect you!"

"..."

The little one was holding his hand while the big one was hugging his arm, cornering him. From the look in their eyes, it looked like they weren't going to let him go until he would allow them.

In the end, he finally gave up. "Fine."

Haofan became their driver for the day and they ended up going to the Aquarium park.

Since it was Yanyan's first time to go to such a place, it was the happiest day of her life. She enjoyed watching the penguins the most.

"Yanyan want to have a penguin, mommy!" She pointed at the small penguin that was nearby the glass window. "That one! That one! Can we bring it home?"

"Uh..." Ye Shuxin was looking at Yanyan's bright smile. "We can buy a stuff toy instead?"

"But Yanyan wants a real one, mommy. Yanyan wants to make it a pet." She pouted.

"..."

Yanyan was used in getting the things that she wanted. Jin Mingze spoiled her like that in return, she would ask him to go out.

But no matter how much she was being spoiled by her father, Ye Shuxin wasn't going to spoil her like that. "No."

Yanyan's eyes became teary. "But mommy... Yanyan wants one..."

"You can't have penguins as a pet."

"But they're so cute, mommy!"

"They need to be in a cold place."

"Then Yanyan will ask daddy to build something like this!" She grinned. "Yanyan want a penguin! Penguin!

Haofan was watching them from the side, he was wondering how his Madam was going to handle the kid.

However, Ye Shuxin's eyes became cold as she looked down at the little girl. She didn't like this part of her.

Well... Yanyan is still a child. No matter how disciplined she was in other things, there's still going to be an 'annoying' part of her as a kid and right now, the child was showing it to her.

"Mommy, let's bring that one home-"

"Yanyan!" Ye Shuxin raised her voice.

It caught the attention of the others that were nearby.

Yanyan was surprised that she ended up shrinking back towards Haofan's side in reflex. Tears filled her eyes and she ended up hiding behind the butler.

Ye Shuxin sighed heavily. It was going to be troublesome to keep this up.

She looked at Yanyan before she sat in front of her. "Yanyan, come here." This time, she softened her voice.

The child pursed her lips and kept on hiding behind Haofan as she shook her head.
