Kapitel 51: 51. Gifting it away

They literally had just simple clothes on them and nothing else. She held her head and pointed at their rooms. ''Get blankets, two sets of clothes and thick shoes. And please take raincoats. And hats. Or do you think you are indestructible? Go go go.''

While they went inside she quickly went to the kitchen and quickly made two packages. Dried vegetables and meat and some dumplings that were left from lunch. She rushed out with packages and put in their side bags. ''Please drink enough water. And eat warm food. Not only this cold one. Keep this and eat it only if there is no other way. Understood? Eating to long dried food isn't that healthy.''

They noded and rushed off quickly on their horses.

Mingli looked at the two people that quickly disappeared and sighed. ''It will take them ten days to capital even with bad weather. Seven days if they are lucky. Then they have to wait for all the administration to starts working. If we are lucky in one month they will be here.''

Shu Ya understood. Actually, there is a big river and they could use it to go fast downstream but only in case if there is no big flood. If they are lucky they can be down to the capital in seven days with the river. But up to this place will take them twice or even three times the time.

''Bolin show me the cave and let's gather some silver inside as proof.'' She jumped on the carriage and they went opposite the way.

As soon she came near the caves she knew that her dream of big fairs and competition is in vain. The stony place that she planned to flatten up and make into the new sea was actually a cave system.

It was still not late afternoon when she entered and saw shine even from the entrance. ''Bolin. My dream of big things is wasted. Even if I had ten heads the caves would take the water away anyway, even without silver. Let's pick up some bigger pieces and rush to town.''

Bolin shook his head. ''Miss this is not silver. Come, I will show you.''

They got deeper and after she almost lost sight without light as shine could be seen on big walls.

Bolin took out his dagger and started hitting a few protruding stones. He gave them to her and picked her up as they had no time for strolls.

When they arrived at town the city guards saw a pale-looking kid that shook. ''Is she sick?''

Shu Ya started laughing. ''No, I am excited. Today this town will become famous throughout the kingdom. Where is the big gong?''

They pointed at the direction and suddenly saw a strange man flying towards Shu Ya with a huge sword. But Bolin just kicked him with a foot and rushed towards big gong. ''Capture him. If we don't report this instead famous town we will become a dead town. Quickly!''

Soon he saw the red lights and stopped the carriage scaring few people. He took off the carriage Shu Ya and rushed to the gong.

Shu Ya took the big mallet. With Bolin's help, she hit the gong, again and again, making everyone come and gather. The more people came the more she hit the gong.

Suddenly soldiers rushed towards her and a man with serious expression came in front of her. ''Miss, this gong is to hit only if something big happened. Do you know that?''

Shu Ya nodded. ''I know Lord. But this thing is too big to chat in private. Just now someone tried to kill me so I don't speak.''

The City Lord turned his head and saw two soldiers dragging a man in black. He saw what was coming and suddenly went limp.

One of the soldiers checked him and paled. ''Sir, he is dead. It seems he ate poison. What is going on?''

Shu Ya smiled and opened a package she had in her hands. ''Its big honor for this country! Long live Emperor!!!'' She suddenly kneeled and showed a bunch of silver stones.

Bolin kneeled next to her and bowed deeply to flor while yelling as well. ''Long live Emperor!!!''

Lord stepped forward and suddenly paled. ''Silver? Pure silver. Where did you find it?''

Shu Ya stood up from the floor and pointed at the direction of her farm. ''I bought a farm not long ago. I wanted today to walk a little bit around and found a cave. At first, I saw some shiny stones and thought they are precious. ''She took out the shiny stones and he shook his head. ''I know now it is not. But I am a child, curious. So I went deeper and found a different kind of shiny stones. When I went back home this man was still there and told me its silver. I remember that my mother told me that such things belong to the empire to support the weak and our army. So I came to report. I will give up on my farm for the sake of the empire. I don't care. My Lord, could you please write an official report to Emperor? Here are ownership papers. I am willingly giving it to our country. Please let me transfer ownership on countries name. Right now. Please. Here I have enough witnesses. This country is really lucky. Silvermine is something we can't ever say that we do not need.''

Everyone nodded. The Lord waved his hand and few scholars came with a table, paper and ink and he started writing gifting certificates. She sighed in and then even left print.

She turned and saw him looking at her weirdly. ''Like that, no one can say its fake.''

She took out all the papers and gave him. But before she completely let go she scrunched her face. ''I need a house in town and if I may I would like to take my food with me.''

He sighed and nodded. ''Of course. I am sure the Emperor will pay you back the worth of the land.''

Shu Ya shook her head. ''No need. The gift is a gift. The sale is a sale. I don't need money.''

With complicated expression, she looked around.

''What is it? Is there something I could do at this moment?'' After all, she gifted silver mine to their empire. It's not he can't do her small favour. And people were intently watching from all sides, including scholars.
