Calder raised his hand then hesitated. His heart was pounding against his chest as every fiber in his body screamed to not touch the door. He licked his dry lips and dropped his hand. He then raised his sword and took a single step back before he swung the sword vertically.
In one clean cut he sliced the door in half and his eyes widened instantly as he heard snapping sounds. He jumped to the right just as a giant tree log swung downwards and smashed through the doorway, taking parts of the walls with it. "CALDER!" The women shouted in unison as he rolled away, dropping his sword as he did.
"Moron! STOP!" Britille shouted at the top her lungs. Calder rolled off the floor, he opened his eyes just in time to watch his fall. He reached upwards and caught onto something, a wet and burning sensation went up his arm. He took in a few deep breaths in and out as his mind tried to catch up with the situation.
