With a heavy sigh Calder searched for Syria. He had gotten the milk teas packed up in a travel cups and had them laid neatly inside a bag with straws. He had dreaded the thought of going to see Syria after making himself out like a giant idiot but he hated even more the thought of not going to see her. Especially when he promised would wait for her to talk about what was bothering her. "Come on, man up!" He cheered himself on but instead of staying it in his head he said it out loud causing some heads to turn.
People close by started to whisper as they took a few steps away from Calder causing his face to flush, he realized too late his awkward mistake. "Sh*t..." He cursed under his breath. With new motivation Calder took large strides away from the onlookers and towards the place he told Syria to wait.
Sorry about the delay. If anyone saw the comment, yes I was distracted the last few weeks preparing my dad to get surgery. He is home now and it was a little scary but the pain medication is taking and I won't be rushing to the E.R. He had his shoulder replaced and will need 6 months to recover. So I can finally start updating this novel and my other one a little faster then I have been. Thank you for the patience and thanks for sticking with me.
