"Brilliant, do what he says." Pure Calder said as he smiled. "Right but how do I get her to say yes? She could say no." Calder said down heartedly. "Romance her with the nighty gritty stuff. Overload her so much she can't even think of saying no." Evil Calder said. Calder looked at pure Calder and waited. "Got it! This is what you're going to do." Pure Calder said with a toothy smile.
Calder rushed out of is room armed with his first weapon He ran at top speed through the palace trying to spot any of the staff. it was empty. To his luck he spotted Rutley. "Rutley!" He shouted as he ran towards him.
Rutley paled as he watched a raging beast run towards him. He turned around and started to run away. "Rutley wait!" Calder shouted. "No!" Rutley shouted back as he ran. "I need your help with something!' He shouted as he closed in on Rutley.
"I can't help you! Not until you ask out one of the ladies!" Rutley yelled. "And I swear this is for after I go out with Lady Syria!" Calder yelled causing Rutley to stop abruptly. "You did it?" Rutley asked in awe but his stopping wasn't calculated by Calder. "Watch out!" Calder yelled as he leapt upwards. Rutley blanked as he watched Calder jump over him and flip in the air.
Calder landed behind Rutley with ease. He turned around and grabbed Rutley's shoulder. "I need you to do something the moment I drag Lady Syria out of the palace with me." Calder said.
.....
Calder felt relieved. Part 1, 2 and 3 were already complete or set. All Calder needed to do was ask Lady Syria to brunch out in the town. Rutley gave him a hint to where Lady Syria was and Calder found her with ease. However the moment he spotted her sitting in the egg shaped swing in the back gardens he froze. He wasn't sure what was causing him to freeze but he stood perfectly still with a giant bouquet of white roses in hand.
He stood there watching as she comfortably laid inside the swing, her eyes were closed, her legs were curled inwards and rested inside the swing. Her golden brown hair was tied up into a pony tail while large curls cascaded over her shoulders.
Her skin glowed a soft peach colour and her lips looked small and plump. He couldn't stop staring at her lips. They looked like perfectly shaped rose petals and he wondered how they would feel like.
"You've been staring for a while." Lady Syria called out as she opened her eyes. Her eyes were a beautiful amber colour and Calder found something else to stare at. "You know, any other Lady would think it's rude that you keep staring without saying a single word." Lady Syria said coldly as she started to climb out of the egg shaped swing.
"Do you?" Calder asked as he took a few steps forward. Lady Syria paled the moment he moved closer. "I-I-I-I find it completely rude." Lady Syria tried to say arrogantly but her stuttering caused less of an impact. "Sorry." Calder said as he moved even closer. "What do you think you're doing?!" Lady Syria shouted as she tried to escape but Calder grabbed her wrist.
Lady Syria tried to stand tall as she glared at Calder but her body was trembling under Calder's touch. Calder chuckled as he held her in place. "W-w-w-hat do you want?" Lady Syria asked again but her voice turned weak and tears started to form. Calder let go of her wrist right away and lost his nerve. He was at a loss for words. He opened his mouth then closed it then opened it again, acting like a fish out of water.
Lady Syria looked cornered as she stayed rooted in place. Calder groaned then dropped to one knee. He lowered his gaze and stretched out his hands. He presented Lady Syria the rose bouquet and a letter. Lady Syria looked at the items but she didn't know what to do.
"B-B-B-B-B-Brunch?" Calder asked as his hands shook. "Excuse me?" Lady Syria asked as she looked down at Calder's head. "L-l-l-letter e-explains!" Calder shouted causing Lady Syria to jump backwards.
Lady Syria lost her footing and she started to fall backwards. Calder dropped the bouquet and letter and lunged forward. He swiftly caught Lady Syria in his arms and looked down at her face. They were close, practically a breath away from each other. "Are you alright?' Calder asked as he stared at her face. Lady Syria gulped then nodded her head. "Good. It would have been bad if you got hurt." Calder said with a sigh of relief.
He then picked up Lady Syria with ease and sat her down in the egg shaped swing. He then quickly lifted up her light teal dress as he squatted down. "Your highness!" Lady Syria screamed. Calder ignored her and removed her high heel. "Thank goodness. Your leg is only slightly twisted so you should be fine if you rest for a bit." Calder called out but Lady Syria was silent.
Calder wondered if the pain was worse the. it seemed and inspected Lady Syria's slender ankle in between his hand. Suddenly Calder realized he was holding Lady Syria's ankle. He didn't know what to do. He tried to look away so he could clear his mind but her ankle looked so pretty. His eyes were drawn in.
Her skin looked so smooth and flawless. She also felt so soft under his heavily calloused touch. Calder gulped as he brought up his other hand and gingerly stroked her leg.
"So soft." Calder whispered as his body temperature slightly elevated. Something was wrong. His body started to feel itchy and his pants were starting to feel tight. Calder looked down then blushed. He reluctantly let go of Lady Syria's ankle as he took a deep, shaky breath in.
He didn't dare to stand up. Hoping time would settle his mini him down. "Lady Syria, I can carry you back if you can't walk." Calder said in a husky voice. Lady Syria said nothing.
Calder looked up and instantly shuddered. Lady Syria stole his breath away. A beautiful shade of red splashed across her face, she glared at him but her eyes were glistening from tears as she bit down on her plump bottom lip. "Lady Syria." Calder called out breathlessly.
