Kapitel 128: ⭒Save Her

She stopped on her tracks. It felt as if someone was following her moments ago. The sound of rusting leaves crunching under a feet stopped just behind her, mimicking her unmoving state.

She swallowed hard and gathered some courage to not to feel fear. It was the last thing she needed in this vast of darkness. It was not her to cower over a sound of footsteps. Her concern entirely lies to the fact that it might be coming from a threatening nocturnal animal. She fear that it would lunge to her unexpectedly while her back was turned.

She swallowed hard and sharpened her senses. She doubt that the noise was coming from an animal since the sound is more of a persons footsteps thudding to the ground than an animals light feathery footsteps.
