Kapitel 69: Dethroned King

Leonardo sat on the sofa as his gaze followed his son's back until he faded out of the door. He hastily fished the pack of cigarette inside his pocket when Zian was totally out of his sight. His fingers reached for the lighter at the top of the glass table and he lighted the cigarette pressed against his lips.

His wife wasn't inside the house and he was glad she wasn't around. If she did, she will be making a fuss out of him for smoking inside the house. She is allergic to cigarettes and she hated the lingering smell of it sticking on the curtains and furnitures.

His wife after their only son's literal 'shotgun' wedding, opted to have a vacation across the country to ebb the stressful event that had taken a toll on her. He was not able to accompany her with her out of the country trip since he need to attend an important matter he can't postpone. Speaking of Alexandria, his wife ot twenty eight years, she was the ex girlfriend of his younger brother.
