Kapitel 140: Pity

Still within that night, the plane just landed and Dark was now on the road. She just walked in the airport and was already deemed lucky to get a ride but would she be able to get a hotel there too?

She was not near downtown, but rather, was about to get there, wanting to know what kind of situation is there. So she called a taxi and was now on the road. Everywhere she looked, there would be only one or two people walking down the sidewalk. 

Dark wasn't that bothered by it, this was just the road. She wouldn't be surprised if there were no people out there. However, when she arrived downtown, she saw that there weren't as many people as well.

She wanted to ask the taxi driver but it was already too late, she was at her destination. She missed the opportunity to gain information since she was too deep in her thoughts.
