Even though the phone was waterproof, continuous exposure to rainwater made it flicker and then go dark once and for all. Jayden tried to switch it back on but it did not work.

There were no vehicles in sight and they could not even see any human on that road.

"Why are you walking so fast? Slow down! Let us enjoy the atmosphere a little longer."

Jennifer stopped suddenly without any warning, Jayden who was running behind her hit her back and almost lost his footing. She turned around and held his shoulder to stop him from falling down.

Once he stood steadily, he raised his hand towards her face and moved the hair that fell on her eyes.

"My sexy baby! Can I kiss you now?"

"No!" Jennifer rejected him without a second thought and even pushed him down.

Jayden fell down on a puddle of water and dirt water splashed on her pants. She stamped her feet several times on the pool of water next to her feet which caused him to take a bath in that muddy water.
