Kapitel 47: Village Wierdo
After we entered the village we found it eerily silent. We were able to locate an inn and booked one large room with two single beds.
"ne ne~Jamie, this village is giving me goosebumps. I don't know but it looks like that there is an ominous aura around here." Saya said while shaking me a bit.
" I too feel the same Saya but we can't do anything right now till we get any further information about the situation. Though I would try my Area Sense to check for any abnormalities." After saying that I used my Area sense around whole village and found nothing wrong with it.
" Well, all or maybe the most of people right now are at their home, tomorrow morning we will check around the area by asking various people." Just as I said that there was a knock on the window. I immediately had one hand on my sword handle and would draw it to take down any enemy and when I looked at the window I saw that it was the crow.
When I opened the window it flew in. *caw**caw**caw*"Team James is to investigate this village and take out any Demon around here."*caw*caw* and it flew out.
"hmm, we will investigate tomorrow morning, right now I am tired and I am sleepy" Shinobu said and went to sleep.
" Yeah, today was a long day and I too am tired and want to just sleep right now." Saya said and went to sleep as well.
" Well let's sleep as well" I said but before going to sleep I put various barriers around the room for protection purposes and went to the bed where Saya was sleeping and I too slept in the same bed as we ware close enough to sleep and bath together and we are just children so don't even think to call the Universal F.B.I.
Tomorrow morning when sun light broke into the room I was already awake and doing light exercises within the room while the girls were sleeping. After taking a bath, when I came out I saw that both of them were awake as well.
While looking at them I said," Get ready and let's go downstairs to get some food." They both nodded and went to bathroom together to have a hot shower.
After a few minutes they got ready and we went downstairs. When we reached the hall we saw that the whole hall was filled with people eating and discussing various things together. We soon found an empty table and walked to the table. While walking I saw that the people were eyeing us weirdly almost like drones giving feed to another and were looking at us as we were their food.
It was very disturbing indeed. we sat at that table and ordered some food to eat.
While we were waiting for the food both the girls were having girls chat while I was trying to get information about the situation.
I soon heard the man sitting at a table near us saying, " You heard many people are disappearing nowadays around the whole village."
" Must be the work of the bandits near the village, they are too much trouble to be left alone and the police are scared to take them down. We should all take cautious."the other man spoke up.
"No, I heard it I the work of some devil. In order to do some ritual to get stronger." The first one spoke up.
" Haha, looks like you are reading lots of fairy tail nowadays. Devils, rituals, are you for real? Hahaha" the other one burst into laughter.
"Oye, I am serious here" The first one spoke but the other one still kept laughing at that.
While this all was going I thought,' It sure is suspicious, if I was some common demon slayer I would think to just find the Demon and get it the trap. As the way he was speaking looked like he was trying to give us this information. It must be a kind of trap but why would a human help in it."
