Kapitel 37: 37 New School ( Part-II )

The five of them walked across the field designated for the elementary division. The elementary division had only one big ground for the children to play. Reaching the Middle school division they went towards the principal's office.

The middle division had separate grounds for them to play. There was also a huge baseball ground that caught the attention of the three children. The building of the middle school division looked the same as the elementary division's.

They reached the office, and as there was no one ahead of them we allowed them inside. Rei sat outside in the reception as they only needed Sora and Meiko this time. The reception was like the one in the Elementary division. There were more prizes and certificates received by various students displayed in comparison.

The talk with the principal went smoothly, and the registration went quickly. The principal was rather young in his 40s. He looked strict but also had a kind smile to the students.

Completing their talks, they came outside and returned to the car.

Seeing everyone seated, Narumi then said, "Ok! Now, this is done. Let us eat food in a restaurant. What do you say, Shiro?"

The car instantly became rowdy with Meiko throwing out suggestions to what kind of restaurant they should go. Sora also suggested sometimes.

Seeing it getting rather rowdy, Narumi frowned and asked, raising her tone, "Be quiet. Don't throw out suggestions like that. Now all of you suggest one."

Meiko immediately said, "Chinese."

Sora followed her with, "Thai."

Rei slowly said, "Italian."

Hearing them giving out distinct suggestions like this, Narumi let out a sigh. She then pondered for some time and said, "Ok! Let's go-to Italian today. The last few times we went to both Thai and Chinese."

The siblings agreed, and Shirogana started the car, seeing the decision made. Meiko then asked Shirogana, "Dad, we will go today to the club. For both of us to join."

Shirogana nodded and didn't reply. They finally reached the restaurant. The restaurant looked rather fancy; they wrote some letters in Italian on the board.

They entered and sat on the vacant table. Everyone ordered unique kinds of dishes, Rei ordered a Pasta, Meiko and Narumi ordered Lasagna and Shirogana with Sora ordered Risotto.

The food came after a while and all of them ate it satisfied. They got in the car and drove back. This time only Narumi and Rei got down of the car as the rest three still had to check the Kazi senior.

(REI POV )

I was very satisfied with the school and its structure. They had many things in their program, large grounds. Satisfied by the pasta, I went to my room to sleep. I noticed as I went to my room that I have been sleeping more these days after I left baseball.

I should properly pick up another hobby to get my time consumed. Reaching the room, I directly plopped on the bed and slept.

I woke up because of the sounds outside. I slowly got up, looked out of the window, and saw the sun was setting. I saw both the siblings quarreling about something.

I went near them and stood by the side. Meiko turned towards me and asked, "Rei, Tell me who plays baseball better between both of us." Sora also stared at me waiting for an answer.

Feeling awkward under their gazes, I took a step back. I replied with a small voice, "Both of you shouldn't fight. You both have your perks and deficiencies, So both shouldn't compare with each other."

Not satisfied, Meiko turned her head with 'humph' and went to her room. Sora also turned around and went inside his room.

Confused why they were fighting, I made my way towards the hall to ask Shirogana-san why as he went with both of them.

Shirogana-san was sitting in the hall seeing a match on the television. I sat beside him.

Seeing me sitting, he greeted me, "Oh! Rei. Did you have a pleasant sleep?"

I nodded and asked him, "Oji-san, why are Meiko and Sora fighting?"

He then sighed and asked, "So you saw?"

I nodded, he continued, "Sigh those both. When we went to see the Kazi senior, some students were practicing. So we waited for the training to complete. The couch then came and asked for both of them to practice with the others to test them. But when they came after the test, they were arguing already. When I asked about it to the couch, he said some students compared them, saying one is better than the other."

He sighed and continued, "The couch made all of them apologize to the two. But they didn't stop and continued it back home."

I nodded and asked him, "But why are they angry when the others compared them."

"I don't know Rei. I should talk with them tonight."

I nodded and watched the game. I asked him, "When is the finales, Oji-san."

"It is in two weeks, Rei. I will leave after you guys start your new school."

I felt sad as he should leave. Shirogana-san was with me in these times giving support, not without him I felt scared. I felt a hand on my head and I looked up to see Shirogana-san patting me.

"Don't worry, Rei. Narumi will be here with you, you can rely on her. You can call me if you have a problem any time."

I nodded and continued to watch the match. After some time, Narumi-san called us to have dinner. Meiko and Sora didn't talk with each other. After dinner Shirogana-san called them both and gave a lecture while I was helping Narumi-san with the washing dishes.

After the talk with Shirogana-san, both looked fine and talked with each other. After talking with everyone for some time, we all retired back to sleep. I didn't feel sleepy, so I just sat on my bed.

My thoughts wandered on how this summer was very chaotic. Many life-changing things happened one after other like Izumi leaving and dad passing away. It felt lonely thinking of it.

Wiping off the tears which formed, I slept.
