"Yes! Makakabawi na tayo!" Jeremy thought as he saw what was happening on their gank at bottom lane. Even though it's a bit unfortunate that they weren't able to capture the Tinker or the Drow, this is still a step forward for his team.
But then, everything started to change when Tinker arrived.
At first, he was still calm as he knows that Tinker won't be able to save them. At the very least, Tinker could only burst the AA. So he focused on farming instead of the clash at bottom.
After a while, he saw that three of the Radiant heroes that were caught in their gank died, and a little later, the Ancient Apparition.
'Just as I expected.'
But then, another death rang in the battlefield. Followed by another one again.
"Tinker pawned Elder Titan!"
"Tinker pawned Dark Seer!"
"Triple kill!"
"Godlike!"
'F*ck!'
After seeing these notifications, Jeremy immediately looked at the remains of their gank at bottom lane and saw the retreating lone survivor, Sven.
As everything shifted to the unexpected, Jeremy asked his team about what happened for them to die on the hands of Tinker albeit the successful—at first—gank attempt.
"Na-Chrono kaming tatlo eh."
"Tapos yung mga Lasers at Missiles yung masakit talaga eh."
"Andun pa yung mga March!"
"Tapos natamaan ako nung Macropyre! Buti nga na-Force Staff ko si Sven eh. Kundi, baka apat pa kaming namatay."
Jeremy's teammates explained to him what happened. After hearing these, he can only sigh.
What happened was beyond everyone's expectations. Jeremy knew this. However, he can only look at the bright side. After this gank, at least they were able to stop the Radiant's momentum. Although it resulted to an even amount of casualties, they should still have the advantage from the fight due to the Radiant's lead, making the bounties on their head a lot higher than his team.
As Jeremy was contemplating, his teammate, Sven, shouted, "Shit! Andito na naman yung Tinker!"
Jeremy felt his mouth twitch. "He's still not done?" Then he looked at Sven's health. "Malaki pa naman life mo, i-stun mo lang agad tapos back ka na. Di ka naman mabuburst agad eh."
Sven nodded at this.
Afterwards, Tinker has finally reached Sven.
Then, Jeremy saw something amazing. Full combos combined with Dagger to blink himself in almost every direction of Sven.
Jeremy felt something bad. So he returned to his base immediately to regenerate then used his Tp at the bottomlane tier 1 tower as fast as he could. He was planning to help the Sven, and probably kill the Tinker.
As he was using his bottle, he was asking Sven, "Bakit di mo ini-stun? Stun-in mo na!"
"Di ko mastun!" his teammate complained.
"Huh? Anong di mo mastun? Di naman siya naka-bkb ah!"
"Di ko maclick! Masyadong magalaw!"
Realization dawned upon Jeremy. "Hindi ka naka-quickcast ano?"
His teammate nodded without taking off his eyes from the computer. Trying to cast his stun.
Jeremy was saddened about this. He knew how difficult it was even for him, to hit the Tinker if he were the one using the Sven. He already had his setting on quick cast. But his teammate who hasn't, he couldn't imagine how difficult it would be to comfront such movements.
After a short while, Sven was finally able to release his stun—Storm Hammer.
"Yes!" Jeremy exclaimed inwardly. "Baka maka-abot pa ako."
But the released Storm Hammer projectile wasn't able to connect. Due to the constant blinking of the Tinker, the Storm Hammer was dodged and was only able to hit nothing but thin air.
Jeremy saw the Sven and Tinker's life plummeted. With the Sven's much more quicker due to the onslaught of Tinker, and with Tinker due to his constant usage of Soul Ring.
Even though Sven managed to close the distance, he still couldn't damage Tinker because of the 'blind' status from the Laser.
And so, Sven finally fell within 3 seconds.
"Tinker pawned Sven!"
"Beyond Godlike!"
"Someone kill him!"
These constant notifications was the sign of their gank being rendered useless. With the utter turnaround, their momentum was used against them.
Who would think that killing 3 people using 4 is much better than killing 4 people by a single person?
Even with the help of his teammates, it was still undeniable that most of the work was done by Tinker. Plus that dazzling maneuvers, the morale of the Radiant should be at the peak right now.
Jeremy knew that this could be the start of the end for his team. This defeat on their most successful gank, would give his teammates doubts about winning. These doubts will surely snowball, until a lost is inevitable.
This defeat would undoubtedly be a huge blow to his team. That's why Jeremy knew that he must do something to turn the turnaround, around.
He needed to kill this Tinker. This is the only way to spark the light of hope on his sullen teammates... and himself.
Jeremy thought that the newcomer only excelled at leading his teammates. That his captain skills was amazing. Jeremy knew that he lost in this aspect, and was determined to prove himself on something else. Individual prowess. He was planning to show his enemy that even though he's not as excellent as a captain, his individual skill is higher than him. That he was still great at some point.
But with the previous one-man show, his thoughts became child's play.
Showing his skills against that? Jeremy knew that he would only be laughed at. He knew that he lost in every aspect compared to the newcomer. He knew this, and was more dejected than anyone else.
That's why he can't fail on this crucial kill. It would at least disprove his incompetency, both in his and his teammates mind.
Although he's doing this to console himself, it was still his duty to do it as the captain. To be able to find a way out of dire situations. And to muster the courage against the unyielding enemies.
He must show that he won't fall that easily. And that they still have hope. He must disperse the image of invincibility that the Tinker has been creating in their minds.
Jeremy knew that his plan is a high-risk, high-gain situation. Should he success, it would turn the tables and his team might still have a chance to win. But if he fails, it would be the last straw. Their lost will be cemented. There will be no 'comeback' right after this.
This goal isn't unrealistic. Tinker now only has more or less 20% health. He could kill him with one continues swoop from the bottom tower with his Ball Lightning. If not, he can still chase him. His Ball Lightning is one of the highest-mobility abilities in the game. Plus, Tinker won't be able to kill him fast because he already has his Linken's Sphere. It should be a foolproof plan.
So, when Jeremy's Storm arrived at the Dire bottomlane tier 1 tower, he zapped his way into the whereabouts of Tinker right before he disappeared into the fog.

When the three of his teammates were caught, Leo instantly headed to their help. He couldn't help but curse himself for not bringing another tp.
'What a newbie mistake, f*ck!'
He was constantly right-clicking on the place of battle, as if doing so would make his hero faster.
While doing this, he looked at Kite. He saw him frown for a moment, then concentrated on the game. Unperturbed of the situation that they're in.
Leo was dumbfounded at this. He thought that Kite would be mad at their teammate's carelessness. He was not expecting this demeanor.
"Can we still turn this around?" Leo thought. He quickly returned his gaze at his monitor, and looked at the situation of the battle.
He saw that his teammates are dying.
The only silver lining is that they were able to cast some spells right before dying.
When they died, he turned to look at Kite. His expression never changed for the worse. Instead, he seemed to be more concentrated than before. He stole a glance at Rachel. She too, was looking intently at Kite.
Leo felt that something was about to happen. Then when returned to look at his computer, he saw Kite's Tinker appearing around the battlefield, casting his skills and items all over the enemies.
He noticed that the audiences watching them at the back were increasing.
Earlier, it was only a few people coming and going, curious about every Dota game. Probably gamers like them.
But now, there are at least ten people watching them. Or to be exact, watching Kite.
He couldn't help but feel proud. That this was his teammate.
When 3 of the enemy team's heroes at the battlefield died and Tinker returned to their base, Leo's mouth formed a grin. He was surprised yet satisfied by the outcome.
He was about to stop his hero and pat Kite on the shoulder, when Kite said, "Not yet! May Sven pa."
With this, he noticed that Kite was constantly clicking his bottle to regenerate faster. Seems like he's planning to return and kill the lone survivor!
"What?!" someone at the back exclaimed. Having a hard time believing Kite's words.
Leo couldn't believe it too. Sven was tanky and he has a stun. Kite could more or less damage him by a great amount, but he won't be able to kill him. At least, that was Leo's thought. But he couldn't doubt the look in Kite's face. He's now smiling yet still fully concentrated.
Leo still made his Drow head to the location. He was planning to help Kite realize his goal. At least, with him, it would seem plausible.
But then, everyone was shocked again.
Tinker didn't wait for him and was hurrying at Sven's location.
Afterwards, he unleashed some unimaginable maneuvers. Making this whole battlefield his own stage.
His hero was like a phantom. Despite Tinker being a hero who relies more on Science, there's only one thing to describe what he was seeing... magical!
He could even hear some gasps from the audiences. He couldn't help but chuckle as the feeling of pride for his teammate was swelling.
Everyone held their breath as they watched Kite's dazzling show. They don't wanna miss a thing about it.
And when Sven, finally went down Leo was able to breath a sigh of relief filled with joy.
Even the audiences couldn't help but applause.
"Woah!"
"P*ta ang galing!"
"How to be you po, kuya?"
Leo's happiness and morale were at peak. He knows that his teammates too are feeling the same way. He even noticed Rachel wiping a tear from the corner of her eye.
But all of them were startled when Kite urgently said, "Leo bilisan mo, pumunta ka dito sakin! Ihanda mo silence mo!"
Leo was already near him when Kite said this. He only took a few steps before something white zapped near Kite's Tinker. Missing him by a hair's breath.
This made Leo's heart skip a beat.
"Storm!"
Sh*t!
'Of course! How can I forget about him!'
Leo was thankful that Kite reminded him. This time, he'll surely make use of his silence.
He used his silence at Storm which was already at Kite's Tinker and was doing his best to extinguish his miniscule amount of remaining health.
After his Gust(silence) was used, the enemy was knocked back. Then Leo bombarded him with his basic attacks buffed with Frost Arrows to slow him down and prevent him from chasing Kite or fleeing while in the state of silence.
Thanks to this, Kite was able to live with only a single basic attack needed to kill him.
Because of Leo's item and level advantage, it only took him 6 hits—with his Marksmanship proc-ing on 3 of the hits—before Storm's life went abysmally low.
'He's dead.'
As Leo was thinking about this, a flash of white and red shot at the Storm, ultimately securing the kill.
"Rampage!"
Leo looked at the verdict. It was Kite's Tinker who was now walking back to their base. Apparently exhausting all his mana for that last Laser-Dagon combo.
Leo could only laugh at this. "KS!" he nudged Kite's elbow.
"Hehehe," the latter only responded with a couple of 'Hes'.
"But how did you do it?" Leo asked him. "I saw your mana. You only has enough for a single laser or Dagon. It shouldn't have been enough for a combo. And his Linken would've blocked it."
Kite looked at him then tilted his head. "I used my Bottle and Soul Ring. Don't worry, you can't kill yourself with Soul Ring." he said matter-of-factly.
"Pero that was still risky," Leo stated.
"Of course. But it was worth it," Kite said as he returned his gaze towards his computer then spread his arms. "Now, they will have no strength to fight back. That was the final blow. Panalo na tayo."
Leo thought that Kite was only exaggerating. But the next events proved him wrong. He also realized how scary his teammate was. Being able to orchestrate everything up to this point. Leading the enemy to a path of no return.
It was evident that the Dire has lost their will to fight. When they ganked them, they couldn't feel much resistance. It's like they're only relying on their reflexes to respond with what was happening around them.
Only Storm was different. Although his performance has deteriorated, it looks like he still haven't given up yet.
But all his struggles became futile. With Kite having completed his Sheeepstick, Storm was never able to escape from his grips.
The last battle occured with a five-man Chronosphere. Rachel poured out all her skills, Leo attacking them from outside, and Kite's Tinker with his Aghs, bursting them in a rapidly manner.
Soon enough, the Dire side was forced to call 'Good Game'.
Kite's team won.
