Kapitel 21: Magneto I

"So this was where you guys were hiding..." Vali appeared behind Sabertooth with a smile.

Vali had no idea where he was right now but that didn't matter to him. His eyes were fixed on magneto who was in a readily position to attack at any moment.

Sabretooth was instantly alarmed and quickly jumped away to create distance from Vali. There were beads of sweat perspiring from his forehead as he glared at Vali, he had no idea when Vali got behind him at all until he heard his voice.

Vali didn't care about Sabretooth at all and kept his eye on magneto as if he were afraid he would disappear if he looked away, "you have no idea how glad I am to see you magneto!"

Hearing the way Vali was talking to him, Magneto felt strange. Was this kid an enemy? But why does he sound like a fanboy who just met his idol?

"Who are you?" Magneto questioned warily.

Vali smiled and replied eerily, "I'm Vali Ferguson, you sent one of you people to spy on me?"

Magneto frowned when he heard this. When did he send someone to spy on a Vali Ferguson? He didn't remember ever doing this unless... one of his people acted alone?

The reaction magneto had didn't match up with what Vali expected causing him to curiously raise his eyebrow, "it wasn't you?"

"Why would I spy on someone I don't even know?" Magneto retorted.

Vali thought about it a bit more then replied, "well, if it wasn't you then that's that but that wasn't the main reason I've been looking for you..."

"I've come to draft you as a general for my army... you might even get promoted into a marshal!" Vali exclaimed as if this were an amazing opportunity for magneto.

"Army?" Magneto questioned, he was even more confused now.

Vali nodded, "yep, isn't this a great opportunity?"

The things Vali was spouting were complete and utter bullshit, he just wanted to mess with magneto before he became one of his shadows but he wasn't lying about magneto joining in as a general rank shadow and an incredibly strong one at that.

The funny thing was, it seemed like magneto was actually thinking about and he looked pretty serious about it too. If only he knew... he would probably curse at Vali for making a fool of him.

After a long contemplation, magneto shook his head, "I won't join, how about you join me instead? I'm sure you're raising an army for mutants right? If you join us, the day mutants rise above humans is sure to come!"

Vali had a look of awkwardness after he heard magnetos offer, he didn't think that magnetos response was to try and recruit him instead. He wasn't sure if magneto was mocking him or was completely serious about this.

"Are you messing with me?" Vali asked as his lips twitched.

Magneto looked confused as he replied, "no, why would I do that?"

Vali sighed as he waved his hand in defeat, "forget it, I'll stop joking around. I'm here to kill you!"

"What?" Both Sabretooth and Magneto exclaimed and just as they were about to question Vali, a group of shadows appeared out of nowhere and surrounded them.

"Forget them, I can take them alone. Go look for other mutants and capture them, kill them only if it's absolutely necessary..." Vali ordered before he turned his attention back to magneto and Sabretooth.

Needless to say they were shocked and on guard towards Vali, "both of you can come at me together otherwise it won't be any fun."

Sabretooth was short tempered and the provocative tone Vali had with them pissed him off causing him to not hesitate at all and jumped at the chance to rip Vali to shreds.

Exposing his sharp claws and sharp teeth, Sabretooth lunged towards Vali and aimed for his throat. Unfortunately he was caught pretty easily and Vali showed no mercy at all, directly ripping his arm from its socket.

A fountain of blood gushed out from Sabretooth's shoulders and rained down everywhere causing the ground to be painted red.

Sabretooth screamed in agonizing pain before he quickly retreated back while holding his shoulder. He glared at Vali who was holding his arm and waving it around like a toy before tossing it away.

"Lucky you, even though your healing factor is worse than that weasel, it's still quite something, isn't it?" Vali commented as he observed Sabretooth's arm that had already stopped bleeding and was starting to heal.

Magneto looked shocked as he stared at the bloodied arm lying in a pool of blood. He didn't know why Vali was doing this but since he had already made the first move and a pretty big one at that, there was no going back.

"I hope you don't regret this!" Magneto exclaimed as he made his move as well.

Anything magnetic in the area began to wiggle and some structures began creaking as well. Slowly, all the magnetic object started to circle Vali as if they were alive.

Vali smirked, this little show was amusing to him, "You're going to have to do more than this if you want to threaten me!"

All the magnetic objects stopped moving causing magneto to frown. Even more surprising to him was that it all started moving towards him instead and they were all aimed at him.

Magneto looked at Vali with incredulity, how many powers does this kid have? He knew what Vali was doing wasn't control of the electro magnetic field since he didn't feel any disturbance in his magnetic field so Vali was most likely using some sort of telekinesis.

He wasn't wrong but he wasn't completely right either. Dominators touch worked exactly like how telekinesis would work only it wouldn't cost him anything to use it.

To Vali it doesn't feel as if he has to control the things he wants at all, instead it was like the things he controlled had life of its own and all he had to do was order them like soldiers and they would comply.

It was a strange feeling yet it also felt quite empowering. Vali had anything magneto wanted to use against him under his own control and magneto started feeling a sense of suppression.

"How is it? Do you feel helpless? Powerless?" Vali asked with ridicule.

Magneto clenched his fists and exerted even more power as he tried to regain control of all the objects surrounding him. While this was happening, Sabretooth charged forward again thinking that this was a chance seeing that there was a power struggle between the two.

Unfortunately for Sabretooth, Vali wasn't very invested in the the fight over control of the objects so he was ready for Sabretooth when he came at him.

Being more wary this time, Sabretooth wasn't immediately beaten back like last time and managed to exchange a few good blows with Vali without getting caught like last time.

"You just got lucky the first time!" Sabretooth growled provocatively.

Vali smirked, "did I? Why don't you try again?"

"Graaa!" Sabretooth lunged at Vali.

He was many times more fierce than before and all of it was aimed at Vali. Using his good arm, Sabretooth once again tried clawing at Vali's throat and he instantly regretted doing so.

Like before, Vali's hand grasped onto his arm tightly and he was unable to get away. Seeing the mocking look on Vali's face, Sabretooth knew what was going to happen.

"Ahhh! Fuck!" Once again, his arm was ripped off easily.

When he thought it was over, a flying fist smashed into his jaw causing some of his teeth to fly out all over the place. He even flew back like a rocket and crash into the wall.

"I think I'm even luckier this time!" Vali laughed out.

Just as Vali was about to go and finish off Sabretooth, a bunch of metallic objects blocked his way. Magneto had a triumphant look on his face as he stared down Vali.

To be honest, Vali was a little surprised as he didn't expect magneto to regain control so fast. Dominators touch wasn't invincible, as seen with magneto, if one had stronger control then they can overcome the affects of dominators touch.

Vali didn't let magneto stay triumphant for long as a strong force coming from himself took control of the objects again. Magnetos face darkened as he once again exerted even more power to regain control.

This time however, no matter how hard he tried, he just couldn't shake Vali's control over the objects since Vali was also upping his control along with magneto.

Seeing that he couldn't stop Vali from approaching Sabretooth, Magneto exclaimed, "you cant kill him, it's impossible!"

With a chuckle, Vali picked up Sabretooth by the collar and retorted, "we'll see about that!"

Wrapping his hand around Sabretooth's neck, Vali asked, "do you think he will die if I suffocate him like this?"

"Impossible! The most that will happen is him going into a coma!" Magneto replied.

Vali nodded, "right, he'll probably just end up in a coma but I forgot to tell you something... no one can heal from the wounds I inflict!"

Taking a red bladed katana out of nowhere, Vali slashed at Sabretooth's throat. Magneto watched in ridicule as he didn't believe Vali could actually kill Sabretooth.

His reaction completely changed however after minutes passed and Sabretooth's wound still wasn't healing. The body just laid there without any movement whatsoever.

Magneto blankly stared at the dead body, "what did you do? He's not healing!"

Vali replied with a smile, "same thing I'm going to do to you."

With his hand over Sabretooth's dead body, Vali gave Magneto a glance then said in a somber voice, "arise!"

Magneto watched as a dark figure closely resembling Sabretooth formed over the dead body. The shadow immediately kneeled down and lowered its head to Vali, it's ghastly red eyes made Magneto shiver.

"This..." remembering all the dark figures from before, Magneto came to a sudden realization, "those dark figures from before... all of them..."

Vali smiled and said, "it's your turn!"
