After that eventful night last night, I am not that aloof with them. I actually became a little bit close with everyone of them. Now I am in my office at school doing some paperworks before going to my class. Since my class starts at eight - thirty in the morning, I still have an hour to spend in the office.
I came here early because I did not had the chance to finish everything that I need to do last night. I have been here since six in the morning and it is been an hour past, I finished almost half of the documents. For the remaining hour, I am sure it is enough time for me to finish all the remaining papers from last night.
* After an hour *
I heard a notification tone rang from my intercom, so I check and heard my secretary's voice
" Miss it is eight am already, time for you to attend your class in Marketing "
I pressed a button and speak " Thank you for reminding me, you can collect all the signed documents in my table and leave the new documents that urgently need my attention. "
" No problem Miss, it is my duty to serve you " she replied
I pressed again to reply " HMM .. you can leave early today if you like as long as you finished all the things needed to be done for today "
" Thank you Miss, have a great day ahead "
" You too. You can come here after I leave. I'll be leaving now "
After we talked, I went to my elevator and pressed some buttons so I can arrive directly on my class building, remember the secret tunnels that I can use to be in one place in a short amount of time without others seeing me? I decided to use it now. I don't want to be late on my class and I don't want to be seen by Mr. Tungsten just in case he is here. I am trying to avoid him as possible.
After almost 15 minutes of walking, I reached the room for my marketing class and as always, I chose to sit on the back. I am praying hard hoping that we don't have the same schedule today. Because, even if we take the same subjects with the same professors, the scheduled hours for each students depends on our availability.
I just quietly sit on my chair and activated my bluetooth earphone so I can listen to music while waiting for my professor's arrival. I open my spotify app and pressed shuffle play button.
* Out of My League by Stephen Speaks *
" It's her hair and her eyes today
That just simply take me away
And the feeling that I'm falling further in love
Makes me shiver but in a good way
All the times I have sat and stared
As she thoughtfully thumbs through her hair
And she purses her lips, bats her eyes
And she plays with me sittin' there slacked jaw
And nothing to say
'Cause I love her with all that I am
And my voice shakes along with my hands
'Cause she's all that I see and she's all that I need
And I'm out of my league once again
It's a masterful melody
When she calls out my name to me
As the world spins around her
She laughs, rolls her eyes
And I feel like I'm fallin' but it's no surprise
'Cause I love her with all that I am
And my voice shakes along with my hands
'Cause it's frightening to be… "
I'm enjoying the melody when I felt someone took the seat beside me, I got curious of his or her identity but I just let it go. I don't mind having a seatmate anyway, as long as he or she is a quiet person and won't disturb me, I'm okay with it.
But I think, luck is not with me today, I felt him pulling the left chord of my headset. I was about to reprimand that 'someone' but when I turn around to talk with that 'someone', I saw a very familiar face that made me speechless. His captivating dark eyes were staring at me, it makes me felt like he can see me through the bottom of my soul by the way he stared at me.
I snap back in reality and I just looked at him with my raised eyebrows, with the look of ' what the hell is your problem?'
He smiled at me and said " Hey, fancy seeing you again "
" Yeah, 'FANCY' seeing you too " I replied and emphasized the word fancy with sarcasm. Really? Fancy? it's not like you don't know that I am taking marketing in this school where you met me yesterday.
" So how's your day? " he asked
I would like to say BAD, VERY VERY BAD because you showed up but I decided to replied " Not bad, how about yours?"
" Good, in fact every seconds passing by makes it better " lucky you, hayst hope mine won't get worse
" Oh really? that's nice then" I replied
" yeah, very nice, I will spend my day with you * smiles * " he replied I was like ' Huh? Spend your day with me? As in ME? M-E? why me? besides, how sure are you that I will spend my day with you? Don't you want to ask my opinion first before you start planning?'
But instead of talking with him, I just looked at him for a bit and before I can give my reply, our professor entered the room. Lucky him, he got save by the bell, hmpf.
" Good morning students! So for today's lesson, we are going to continue our discussion about marketing in a broader points. " My professor said
" Since we defined marketing as the activity, set of institutions, and processes for creating, communicating, delivering and exchanging offerings that have value for customers, clients, partners, and society at large."
" It also means that to serve both buyers and sellers, marketing seeks two points. First, to discover the needs and wants of prospective customers and the second one is to satisfy them."
" There are also requirements for Marketing to occur, anybody can give at least one requirements?" he asked.
I would like to answer that question right away to earn additional reward points but since I am trying to be lowkey, I am waiting for the others to try answering first before I give my answer.
After a while, no one gave the correct answer yet and I can see the frown from my professor's face.
" Come on, guys. Have you ever done an advance revision so you can cope up with the lessons the next day? You are all taking business administrations masteral degree and yet you are not being responsible "
I raised my hand to cut him before he gave a long time of ranting. Luckily he noticed my action and nodded at me to gave me permission to talk.
