In the end, Diana ended up facetiming Ivy and chatting with her and Angel to let Maxim drive in peace. 

30 minutes later, Maxim opened the door for her after parking the car and a stretch of darkness greeted her vision. 

The sound of crashing waves made her tilt her head to the side. 

Sea? 

''Are we here for a walk on the beach?" she started pestering the man who closed the door and crossed the paved path as he walked on the seashore. 

''No.'' 

She chased after the man, feeling the cold wind grazing on her skin. 

Luckily, she was wearing a coat. She hugged it tighter, ''Then? What are you being so mysterious for?'' she grumbled. 

Maxim did not bother responding. 

Diana rolled her eyes, ''So stingy,'' Can't he tell her what he was up to? ''Atleast, give me a hint ah—'' 

Diana grabbed Maxim's elbow as her heels dug into the sand. 

''What's wrong?" he held her shoulders and supported her.
