Kapitel 18: going to war with ones own nation
i hand picked 100 benders from my legions, and sent the rest, to man ba sing se... as such i now had a legion of 100 skilled benders... all hardened by war.. and loyal to me, their commander...
now was the time of the axe... now was the time of war, and retribution...
feeling this, we traveled back to the ships.. this was when i met a certein father, who had blended into my forces....
i was in my ship... looking over the war table... with Zhou Chen who was at my side, advising on means of attack... when suddenly... one of my men interupted the council...
"Prince Karna, their is someone who requests an audience with you.."
i looked up towards the figure... and nodded
i had a gut feeling of who this might be....
"whats his name?"
"Bakoda..."
a large smile formed across my face.. "let him in."
it took only a moment for him to return and i saw a man wearing a fire nations uniform.... he took off his helmet and revealed his blue eyes, and tied up black hair...
"welcome, Hakoda, of the water tribe."
father of katara i thought to myself.... a useful ally to have, and a connection to the avatar....
knowing of the future... i knew i had to befriend this individual...
"do you still want in?"
i said with a gleeful smile....
he smiled back... "of course..."
his eyes softened when he looked at me, with the usual pity...
"Zhou Chen, get the jasmine tea ready... we have a long night of planning ahead of us."
Zhou chen smiled, and left the room... preparing ot get a kettle of tea...

they got to know each other quite well, as they talked... and quickly became fast friends, bakoda didnt see any reason to not trust me, as it already proved that i was planning an actual assault on my hone land, with his help no less... not mentioning that he was the leader of the water tribe in the southern water tribe....
"tell me, Hakoda, do you have any children? a wife?" speaking slowly to Hakoda, i smiled towards him gently... of witch he returned the smile, as he sipped his jasmine tea...
"yes, two of them, Saka and katara, and kya, they are my pride and joy, and the reason why i decided to join the war effort... to keep them safe." he spoke with obvious love and affection for his tribe members... and family...
i smiled at this... such a good man... "than we are like minded individuals... its the only reason why i decided to join this war... ill keep them safe, no matter the cost."
hearing this, hakoda eyes scrunched together when he 'no matter the cost' but didnt pursue the subject....
it was time for war... and he had just made a valueble friend, that would surely make a grand name for himself in the future...
