Kapitel 528: Departure

After explaining what had happened to Haruko's Family, Kai proceeded to another important talk with her parents.

He asked her hand of marriage and told them the circumstances.

Knowing that he was her childhood sweetheart and someone who had enough strength to protect her, they finally let her go, wishing Kai and Haruko a happy life.

Unfortunately, Kai could only promise them the marriage for the time being, but he was going to make it a reality as soon as possible.

The parents didn't really care about the date because they knew Kai was someone who held his promise, so they chose to believe in him and asked him to inform them a month before it happened so they could make some preparations.

They also apologized for what they did, which was denied by Kai because he knew what they did was to protect Haruko.

In the end, they had dinner together since Kai also told them he would be spending a night here before returning the next day.
