Kapitel 111: Great disappointment (end)

Suzaku returned an equally resolute stare at Declan, "I will take the risk of losing it." He said without batting an eye, the grip of his left hand on Declan's shoulder getting stronger and stronger.

"You should know that it's a risk I can afford." He added, his tone taking a more sinister turn as a ghostly green aura began to emanate from the spear in his right hand.

Now, Suzaku expected a wide range of things to happen, the two most likely options being that Declan would either rip his left hand off with his teeth or laugh in his face while calling him a 'pussy', a 'cunt' or whatever other synonym for female genitalia he had in store, which represented more possibilities than he could count...

However, neither of these things happened, in fact, none of the things he had thought of happened, what Declan did was ignoring him, preferring to turn back his attention to the other people on the bridge.
