CHAPTER 594

Astrid who was eagerly flying her way through the forest in search of Blade heard the first loud screech and paused in mid-air. 

Her breathing stilled and she watched carefully. She knew that sound. It was the screech of one of the dangerous beasts in the darker parts of the forest in Fortland.

As much as they were fairies, some of these animals were extremely dangerous and impossible to control.

Before she could think much into it, she recalled Blade was out there. Normally, all Fortlanders and Marginians knew better than to venture that far into the forest to hunt. 

If they did, then there would be many of them doing so. Only an outsider who knew nothing of the rules of the forest would do that.

Even she, Astrid, knew better. Upon her arrival, it was one of the things she was taught in the palace.
