Kapitel 4: Trap
The air at the top of the mountain refreshed Xiao Fei thought of what happened last night between her and Huang Ke. It was a good thing that he forgot everything, but inwardly 'she' was hoping that he could remember the incident since it was changing the way 'she' felt toward him. 'She' felt closer to him like he was 'her' soulmate. Even though 'she' didn't enjoy the intimate act - getting torn and bombarded by 'her' brother vigorous shaft -, 'she' was glad to be able to cure his potent poison and also the intimate act had connected 'her' body and soul to him for eternity.
However, 'she' was too ugly to claim him, not only a monster, 'she' was not even female..., there was no way, he could marry 'her' even if he was willing, Heaven and Earth would forbid them. But 'she' realized of 'her' feeling toward him just like a woman loves a man, not brotherly love.
Twas why 'her' teachers had been worried about 'her' weird gender orientation. That was why they kept bombarded 'her' with the weird question about 'her' love feeling toward Huang Ke.
They probably knew that 'she' was a special but case...
'She' admitted to 'herself' that 'she' indeed had fallen in love with Huang Ke since their first meeting, 'she' thought it was only brotherly love, but last night everything had changed, 'she' would flip heaven and earth just to become one for eternity with him, even though unable to marry him, 'she' wanted to be by his side dead or alive.
'She' looked at the faraway figure that indeed still upset that 'she' was hiding something from him.
'She' sighed heavily.
This would be a secret love for as long as 'she' lived for 'her' love was forbidden and taboo.
Wang Tian Huang was walking fast leaving Xiao Fei alone with 'her' thought. Last night, something important had happened but he couldn't remember any of it. His hips was tired from a very heavy and strenuous exercise but his body felt relaxed and satisfied regardless his tiredness, however, he couldn't recall what had he done that had caused it.
Waiting for 'her' to catch up, he sat down by the rock nearby the cliff to inhale a big amount of a fresh breeze of air and enjoyed the sunset view when he heard a rustling wind moving toward him.
"Swoosh..., swoosh..."
Before he could reacted, the wind entrapped him and flown him away in a flash of light.
"Huang Ke!!", screamed Xiao Fei from a great distance when 'she' witnessed the incident. However, Wang Tian Huang disappeared into a thin air without any trace.
"Ting!!! What happened to my brother?!!"
"It was the Azure Dragon beast, he took your brother into his illusion world."
'She' pulled Ting white fox manifestation from 'her' shoulder and with both of 'her' hands, 'she' was holding her on the air with great despair and asked in worrisome tone," What does he want?!!"
Without further ado, Ting changed into human form and gazed at her master with a great amount of concern and said while avoiding 'her' blazing glared," Finding a master.., if he doesn't qualify.., he will kill him!!"
"What is the dragon azure rank?!!"
"Early immortal rank!!"
Xiao Fei gasped, Huang Ke energy was lower by one rank..., could he beat it?
"Do you know where it took him?!!"
The question from her Master scared her..., trembling with fear, Ting was looking at the farther direction of the forest on their opposite side, all the way down, below the cliff twas dark and sinister. "M-Master..., l-let's w-wait f-for y-your b-brother h-here. P-Perhaps..., h-he w-was t-the c-chosen o-one?!" Stuttering to her core, Ling wished the earth could gulp her down at the moment to avoid her predestined misery and agony, knowing that her master would like to follow the immortal beast to save 'her' brother even with their life on the line. She would meet her demise anyway if her master dies, thus she would have to follow 'her' to the end of the world.
"Let's go!", with furrowed brows and worrisome look, Xiao Fei was walking with agility ahead of Ting that was unwillingly followed 'her'.
- The Dark Forest -
"Help..., Help..."
The echoing beseech of help was heard from all directions, while Xiao Fei advanced more carefully, ahead of them, suddenly a pink smoke was filling the air.
"Poisonous gas!!", exclaimed Ting.
Immediately, Xiao Fei took a bottle of pill from her spatial ring and threw it at Ting. "Take 2 pills and save the rest for later!! The pills are only good for the one-hour duration".
Ting nodded and gulped down the pills with her saliva.
"Helppppp..."
Again, the screaming sound was echoing from all directions, but this time, it was as loud and clear as day.
"M-Master...., it could be a trap..., let's ignore it!!"
Xiao Fei disagreed with Ting's reasoning..., after all as a doctor, 'she' couldn't let anyone die on 'her' watch.
"Helpppppppp...."
This time the voice was only coming from one direction, which was farther ahead of them, however, the pink foggy smoke had covered their surrounding areas thicker by each minute and they were unable to see clearly.
Ting was grappling her master hand while shaking with fear of the eerie moment, not wanting to be separated from 'her'.
Then, they heard nothing...
The calling voice for 'help' had stopped instantly.
Unexpectedly, they passed the poisonous pink smoke, and suddenly they entered a pitch dark area.
Xiao Fei was taking out a lighter that was made from small bamboo material and using it to guide their way, while Ting was still grabbing her master hand with her icy cold hand without words.
Then something was dangling on their head...
Xiao Fei lifted up the small bright light and 'her' eyes widened when 'she' saw about ten dead people on top of them with silk thread material surrounding their body leaving only their phantom face in the open.
Ting was almost shrieked but Xiao Fei's hand was covering her mouth to stop it. Something was creeping toward them...
Even it was at a great distance from them, Xiao Fei could tell that it was a big giant spider eating its prey on the main spider web ahead of them, after seeing a glimpse of the beast eating the freshly dead body - possibly the man that earlier was screaming for help - ferociously, 'she' blew off the small fire and held 'her' breath with 'her' inner power, while sealing Ting's nose and mouth area by pressing her vital point under her nose to relocate her breath to her milky skin.
They couldn't see a thing...
The dead body on top of them was connected to the giant spider web, thus they had to crawl side by side to get out of the death trap.
However, the darkness engulfed them, unable to see they were using their hands to feel the ground...
Even unable to smell, Xiao Fei medical skill touch was able to determine that the ground was sticky with the dead men last pee before they died, what a sad ending for them...
Slowly, they were crawling and crawling...
On top of them, they saw two red balls near to each other, going up and down, thus they knew that they were under the giant spider...
They passed it...
Only after 'she' was sure they were far from danger that Xiao Fei lit back 'her' small fire, but Ting was nowhere to be seen...
Ting was following her master side by side, however, at the last moment, she made a wrong turn...
Instead of getting out from the eerie darkness, she went straight to hell...
The demonic giant spider was towering upon her, even without seeing, she could feel its presence from the sticky saliva twas coming out from the beast fangs, and when two of its sticky hairy legs carrying her, she shrieked a mute sound.
The demonic spider placed her on its altar, the main spider web where it was just finished its dinner.
Ting just remembered that her body fragrance scented like a lily flower when she got scared and the spider monster had a great sense of smell, thus by not breathing, both of them should able to escape, but her fate was doom because the beast was able to smell her and caught her...
The demonic spider sprayed silk material from its spinnerets, and started to spin her around with it, leaving only her face area free.
No..., she didn't want to die...
Her master would save her...
But if her master could defeat it why she was running away from it and also she was blocking her breathing scent to alternate her breathing sense to her skin thus enabling her to use magical power.
No..., her master would come back and save her, even though they just met, she knew that her master was very benevolent and she won't let any living beings especially her, to die under her watch.
The thought rises up her fighting spirit, she tried to break free with all her might but the silk material was too strong, it didn't budge, but her body motion was able to send vibration throughout the spider web.
Then she thought of a great idea...
Manifesting herself into a small white fox didn't need magical power only her inner energy.
She turned into a white fox, the giant beast growled when its prey was missing from its sight.
At the moment she manifested, she fell down where her human feet were at, and the giant spider was trying to dug her out with its legs to no avail. Then the giant spider ripped of her cocoon little by little with its hairy legs.
She was doom...
