A man was standing on the other side of the field, his figure securely tucked behind the side of the last stands. He was just standing there, watching it all with his eyes. He had seen how Amara had jumped on Aden just so she could stop him from going away. Also, how she was at ease with the man keeping his hand on her back.
It wouldn't be a lie to say that he was taking dives in a barrel of vinegar. He knew Amara more than any one, or at least that was what he thought. He knew that she would never allow any random person to get close to her no matter what their gender was.
He felt like he was struck by a lightning bolt when he saw how comfortable she was with the angel. Yes, he knew who Aden was. He could smell it from a mile as that was what he was trained to do so, locate and kill angels.
