Kapitel 92: Green Buddha Six Pedal Plant

Lin Fan's team was set to fight against Magic Beast Academy for the first round of the tournament. The bracket had been divided into two sets of twenty one teams, with five teams getting a pass on the first round.
The teams that got passes were the Empyrean Youth League, the Empyrean Championship League, the Undying Night Investigation Teams, and one Water Race Grand Academy. They qualified highest in the tournament, and were all quietly watching Lin Fan and Ban Ta's team prepare to start.
Whispers of mockery were spreading as well as rumors about Ban Ta's abilities. The only ability people seemed to think he had was to be an idiot. Telling your opponent what your next attack was didn't work for him in the Qualifying Tournament. He barely beat a Seven Tailed Grand Beaver without the aid of his brother.
Ban Ta, as it turned out, had a rare treasure that linked him and his brother mentally to each other. It was only possible due to a rare plant called the Green Buddha Six Petals Plant. It was a plant that was only owned by Ban Ta's family, but it wasn't their only secret weapon.
The Green Buddha Six Petals Plant also allowed the brothers to share energy with each other thanks to the roots that the Buddha spread into their spiritual roots. When one brother needed extra energy for the attack, the roots would share energy throw the receivers that had grown in their bodies.
Ban Ta walked onto the stage and stopped muttering for the first time in his entire life. He'd been waiting to use the Silent Tiger Muttering Arts against someone like Lin Fan. He walked up with Pan Ta - his brother, Owa Lan, and Man Low... Man Low was the turtle man that had been so extremely useful in the fight against Hanna Lin.
Lin Fan was across from Ban Ta with Zhou Ra and that was it. He didn't want the girls abilities to be discovered this round, nor did he have enough points to power up Jan Fan's body. He decided to just use his Silver Heart Mimic to take care of Owa Lan. He planned on fighting the two brothers and the two Fatties could fight it out.
"The first round of the Forbidden Tournament is finally about to begin!" Han Zhou said with a mixture of contempt and incredulity in his voice. "These experts will hopefully satisfy you for a few minutes.."
"Remember to buy stuff from the bunnies!" Mimi Fan screamed from the stands to the annoyance of Han Zhou. He sighed and shook his head as a few bunnies did indeed pass by him. He felt like this situation was falling out of his grasp but maintained a curled up smile.
"Now... the rules are simple... No killing, and a ring out means you're disqualified... You can't fly past the top of the stadium, but all types of techniques that don't kill are allowed..."
"Girls are allowed to use seduction techniques, but are not allowed to do anything that kids shouldn't see on stage... Regardless, I will say that this match is heavily favored for the Magic Beast Academy Team!"
"Are you nuts?" Mimi Fan crossed her arms as Su Fan sat down by her side. Grain Kan had ended up on her other side with his leg crossed... "Does he really think Chicken Man can be beaten Su Fan?"
"Mimi Fan..." Grain Kan sighed as he held tight to his daggers as a few Empyreans stared at her... "You... you need to be more careful... Do you want the entire world to hate you?"
"Why are you sitting by me?" Mimi Fan waddled her brow as Grain Kan sighed and looked at a few Empyreans watching Mimi Fan from the bleachers... "You really think I need you? My teacher is always protecting me... Waiting for me to come back to listen to him talk!"
"I... I have a connection to you... I think we might be related..." Grain Kan sighed and moved his hand towards her hair before he abruptly stopped... "As my little sister, I don't want you dying because you stick around Lin Fan..."
"I think you should leave us alone..." Su Fan picked up Mimi Fan and put her on her lap... "Lin Fan wouldn't let us be unprotected... If he didn't have protection, Mimi Fan wouldn't be sitting on my belly... Instead, her sister would be inside my belly..."
"I'm staying with you two..." Grain Kan sighed as Lin Fan walked towards Ban Ta and offered him a handshake.
It was customary to shake the hands of the other team before the fight of the match. This meant that the tournament was actually about to begin.
Ban Ta smiled and with an extremely silent stare began to move his lips.
Lin Fan also smiled as he finally got to not hear Ban Ta's voice when they were fighting. Instead, he could just 'see' his every word as his mouth moved. It turned out the Silent Tiger Muttering Arts he was using still came with the same benefits to someone who read lips...
"First, I'm going to show you why the Tiger Buddha Ancient Sword is so powerful..." Ban Ta muttered silently as Lin Fan shook his head... "It's number 50 on the Heavenly Chest List, but you won't see it coming... I'll get you when me and my brother activate our ultimate skill..."
