Kapitel 35: Torture
'Check quest 'Escape the Lab',' I think to myself, after all the guards are knocked out.
*Mission Update: Escape the Lab
-Having caused a commotion the main scientist is now aware of your actions. You now have a limited amount of time to leave the lab. Be 15 miles (~34 km) away from the lab within 5 hours.
Reward: Second Ingenuity Skill slot, 2 Ingenuity Points, 1000 points
'Okay, so that means that I have 3.5 hours to leave. If it takes a second to get out that is.' Dragging the guards into Talia's room I slap the first one awake.
"We can either do this the easy way, or the hard way, and trust me you don't want to know what the hard way is. How do we get out of here," I say in a firm, cold and commanding voice to the man. Instead of responding to me, he attempts to spit in my face before looking away. A sadistic smile finds its way onto my face as I whisper to myself, "Why thank you, looks like I get to do the hard way."
Thinking along this line of thought, I grab his crotch, as a look of fear appears on his face. "Oh, don't worry I'm not doing what you think I'm doing," I say as a look of relief crosses his face, only to be replaced by horror. "What I'm about to do is so much worse than that."
Saying this, I start channeling lightning element through his groin. His body spasms in pain, unable to make a sound, quickly it's followed by life, then lightning again, putting it in a constant cycle of pain. Keeping this going for a minute, I stop the lightning finishing with a round of life.
"Tess, don't you think you're going to far?" As I was in my thoughts Talia called out to me in a worried voice. Though I understand what she means, she doesn't know what my eyes showed me.
"Don't worry Talia I know what I'm doing, trust me okay?" In a pleading tone I say this to her, hoping she places her trust in me. "I understand, do what you think is best."
Nodding to her I look back at the man still squirming next to me. "So, do you want to try the hard way again? I'd be more than happy to oblige if you do." A glint of fear passed through his eyes, then I see a hint of hesitation in his eyes, before it fills with resolve.
"I know how to get out, but it requires one of us to activate otherwise it becomes a trap." In a seemingly sincere voice he answered my question, but I wasn't naive enough to believe it.
"I'm not stupid, I'm not going to step on a formation that I don't understand. That's a surefire way to get myself killed. There is obviously going to be some kind of physical exit in case the formation malfunctions or something so lead me to that and I'll show you some mercy," saying this I sent a warning shock through his groin for a small moment, causing him to flinch in pain.
Panic filling his face, it was obvious that he would have tried something with the formation. "Sorry, I'm sorry I'll bring you too the physical exit. I promise I won't try anything." Almost shouting due to his fear he responded to me as I felt my hand get wet.
"Disgusting! ****ing coward," I say as first wipe my hand on his face then pants, guiding my lightning and life mana from his leg back to his groin for another five minutes, before he finally passed out from pain.
Repeating this process with each of the guards, I found out there was two exits one probably being trapped. With all them being knocked out it has been a little over an hour since I started. Knowing they will be out for a while I go and check both of the exits spending about half an hour, I find the one that has a hidden formation in it. Remembering which passage it was I return to the room. Waking each up one by one I ask them which way the exit was, two pointed to the direction the trapped one was, and the last three pointed to the safe one.
Waking up all the guards I say, "looks like three of you gave me the safe route, each of you will receive an easy death." Quickly decapitating each of those three I glare at the other two. "We're going to have a lot of fun now," saying this a sadistic grin passed my face as I stare at them. Noticing close to the end of the last torture the technique was losing effect, I decide to circulate through their whole body. Spending twenty minutes on each guard their screams echo through the corridor. To keep them awake every once and a while I send some life mana to their brain reinvigorating them and keeping them conscious. Finally after I was done with them, I killed them.
"Alright Talia I know how to get out of here, just follow me."
