Three months passed in the blink of an eye. Hazel had already emailed all of the line art files to Eva using an encryption Will taught her from when he was a smuggler. With that done, her time was primarily spent getting used to her new life.

They bought a nice five-bedroom house in a gated community outside of London that Will had told her about from his recon trip. All the furniture was new but her paintings, which had finally shipped over, hung in strategic locations throughout the house.

Some of them anyway. Others were in a different gallery Will bought in a trendy part of London. His businesses in Salt Lake were taking a long time to sell but he still owned about five different ones here.

She and Will both had private dialect coaching daily over anonymous video call. She had reached a point where she was confident enough to have short conversations with clerks at the grocery store—or, as she should be calling it, the grocer's.
