70.24% Hazel in the Demon's Den / Chapter 203: They Were Dead

Kapitel 203: They Were Dead

Ever since Will came back, Hazel had felt too awkward to say anything. All those days apart to think about it and she still hadn't found the right words. But she had to tell him tonight.

He had texted about going out to dinner earlier. If she was lucky, the food would relax him so she could bring it up when they got home. This sort of thing wasn't exactly public friendly.

She had gone for a walk in the snow to clear her head and find the right words. Putting it off this long had been ridiculous. The sooner they cleared it up, the sooner they could move on with their lives.

Kicking at the snow on the ground in front of her, Hazel didn't realize there was a car in front of her house until she was practically there. Oh no.

The last time something like this happened had ended in death so she immediately turned around to head toward the woods but it was too late. Someone grabbed her by her coat's hood and let her dangle helplessly almost a foot above the ground.
