Kapitel 22: New clothes and... what?!
Walking down the street we pass many stalls selling food of many kinds. I can see things from fruits to meats. The fruits of this world don't seem to differ much from my last other than the colours.
Apples of this world are actually a light blue in colour and pears are red. Things like these exists here that weren't like that of my old world. Many fruits, veg and the like are all pretty much named the same things but minor differences like these remind me of my new home.
Like this we walk pass the stalls while stopping every so often to take a quick look. I've been promised by Tia to come back and try everything so I'm content with just looking for now.
Soon we arrive at a fountain that has multiple roads branching off of it. Surrounding this fountain are numerous large buildings.
"Anna this is the town centre. Around this fountain are the most important buildings of this town other than the mayor's home. There is the adventurers guild, commerce guild, library and the government building where officials work and recruit for the local military force."
"Heee is that so? So I guess this is where the most expensive shops and things are?"
"Well yes and no. Most of the shops in this area are still aimed at the common people so they can't be too expensive. However there is a noble district where the more wealthy people live like the mayor, wealthy merchants and even some noble houses."
Hmm I see so I guess this is where we will start looking for our inn and shops. Tia had already said that she doesn't want to go the noble district in case she is identified as the 5th princess.
Turning down the street to our left we walked for another 5 minutes before we arrived at an inn. The inn was called the Sleepy Cat inn and it has a beautiful outer appearance.
*Creak* opening the door to the inn we were met with a very cosy open room. The entire ground floor of the inn acts as the restaurant and booking area for the inn. Behind the counter is a orange haired cat kin. She has brown eyes and is wearing a green dress and fits really well with the atmosphere of this inn.
"Hello and welcome to the Sleepy Cat inn! My names Sarah. What is it you need today?"
Tia stepped forward and gave a polite hello back. She then asked for a room for the entire group. Unfortunately they didn't have a room big enough for all 6 of us in one room so we got two rooms instead. The room arrangements are me, Tia and dragon while the other is wolf, tiger and eagle.
"Yes that is fine. For the stay of one individual that will be 5 coppers each. If you would like breakfast and dinner as well that will increase to 1 silver per person."
With that said we decided to get the 1 silver for each person. The total came to 6 silver as we won't be staying here another day after tomorrow.
Walking up to our rooms we dropped all the things off that wouldn't be necessary and headed out again. All the guards came along and for some reason I can sense an aura of excitement? I'm starting to have a bad feeling.
Walking out of the inn we walk back down the way we came from to get to the inn and searched for a clothes shop. We weren't in a huge rush so we took our time.
Eventually we stumbled upon a shop that sold both clothes and shoes. The clothes and shoes themselves were of good quality although most of the clothes were plain. They lack any design but it's how I prefer them to it's a win for me.
"Hey Anna!!! You need to try this, no, you are going to try this come on!!!"
It seems Tia is very excited and I feel as though I'm going to be a dress up doll. "Umm Tia we only need to buy a few clothes and a pair of shoes so we don't need to try everything do we?"
I asked this question to Tia and I kind of regret doing so. Quicker than I could see, her head snapped back towards me and although she was wearing a mask I could tell her facial expression was dangerous.
"Anna we are going to try everything in this shop, you are too cute not to so you aren't running away. Do. You. Understand?"
*Nods* I didn't know picking out clothes was this serious. I mean I never had the opportunity to in my last world and even if I did I may not have bothered. I would much rather prefer to watch and read things on Godzilla.
Grabbing my hand Tia drags me into a changing room and tells me to dress onto the things she picks out. It seems even dragon is happy to help pick out clothes.
"Here try this one first."
"Okay... do I have to?"
"Anna? What did we talk about?"
*Shiver* "O-Okay"
Looking down at what Tia had handed me I could only sigh "A gothic dress really?"
What I was handed is a black and dark purple gothic style dress with a pair of back tights and black shoes. I do have to admit with my new appearance it kind of looks cute it still doesn't make it any less embarrassing. Thankfully the dress had been adapted for those who had additional body parts so my tail didn't cause any problems.
Pushing the curtain aside I step out with my face slightly lowered. If I could see my in face I believe I would be bright red right now. Hearing no noise I think that they may be judging it and may not even like it so I look up at the group.
Looking up I see that not only Tia but the bodyguards and even other people in the shop are all starting at me.
*Fidgeting* "If-if it doesn't look good you can say..... okay I'll change back now!"
*Grab* huh? Turning around Tia had grabbed my arm and is looking at me with sparkling eyes. "Anna you look so cute!!! You are definitely getting this."
"Wha?! No no no I don't want this it's soo embarrassing!"
"Fine I'll make a deal then. If you buy this and a few others that are similar to it you won't have to wear anything else and we can go look at the food."
"Food! Okay let's pay for this then!! Come on let's go!"
*Whisper* "She's so simple some times"
We soon paid for the clothes and went shopping elsewhere. I managed to have many kinds of meats and fruits and I can say that they were delicious! It's the best food I've tasted especially that pulled pork type of meat. It was actually from a animal that's used on farms called the woolly winter pig. It's a pig that had large amounts of wool on it that is usually found in cold conditions but they aren't aggressive so they are used as farm animals. The wool is also used for many purposes as well. It's like the sheep of my old world.
Soon night started to arrive so we retuned to the inn. We had our dinner then went to our rooms. We will be waking up early after all.
Upon entering the room Tia stepped in front of me holding something behind her back. "Hmm what's wrong Tia?"
"Nothing but you don't want to sleep in those clothes right? Soo.... I got you this!"
What Tia revealed was a really sexy type of nightwear that was slightly see through. I can't wear that!
I was going to refuse with all my power this time out when I looked into Tia's eyes I slightly hesitated. No! I can't give up now!
"Tia I-I can't wear that! It's so embarrassing and it's way too revealing?!"
Before I could even continue my argument Tia grabbed me from the front while surprisingly dragon held me from behind. I thought dragon was on my side!
"Anna just hold still it will be over soon hehehehe."
Help me! Help meeee! It's a pervert!
N-NOOOOO!!!!
That night Anna felt like she lost something. It would only be later that Anna finds out why dragon helped Tia.
