Kapitel 11: The war progress
The war has been ongoing for many years now. The casualties on every side has reached into the hundreds of thousands if not already the millions. These were just the military deaths that were confirmed.
Many civilian places had been attacked on the human side done solely by the orcs. The orcs are a race that were built for war. The orcs are the second largest race in terms of numbers while humans are the first.
Orcs have three different types of said orc to their race. Much like how the beast kin have different tribes to their race despite all being beast kin. The orcs have green skinned variations while also having an ash grey and pale red types.
Each type have slightly different abilities and expertise in things which is why they are one of the more dangerous races. There numbers and the fact that their race had a diverse set of skills is what makes them a powerful foe.
The green skinned orcs are known for their ability in the poison a dual wield dagger abilities. The ash grey skinned orcs are known for their overall combat efficiency, they are also the most numerous. The pale red skinned orcs are known for their aggressive behaviour while also being able to use slight fire magic.
These aren't the only race to have a variety in their species. The other races include the beast kin, dwarfs, elves and draconic race. The humans are the only race that doesn't have a variety in their species.
•Beast kin have many different types of people. They have the fox kin which are known for their fire magic and the most iconic but also the strongest of their tribes have 9 tails. They cat kin are known for the agile movements while the dog kin are known for their ability to work together. They also have the silver wolf kin that are known for their ice magic and the panther kin that are known for their stealth abilities.
•The dwarfs only have two variations to their people. They have the long beards and the iron hide dwarfs. The long beards are the most numerous and also the stereotypical type of dwarf being small but strong. The iron hide dwarf have a slightly greyish skin that is almost as tough as iron. They are also very heat resistant making them better at exploring and mining in deep hot underground mines.
•The elves have three types to their species. They are the high elves, dark elves and the wood elves. The high elves are ones that are good with magic and the bow. The dark elves are good with the dark arts like shadow magic and are good with assassin like work. The wood elves are the elves that are one with nature and they are able to use magic that manipulates nature. High elves are the stereotypical elf with usually, although there are exceptions, blond hair because of the amount of mana they have and blue or green eyes (Tia is a high elf). The dark elf has darker skin with either silver or purple hair. They usually also have golden eyes. The wood elf has slightly pale green skin with green hair and eyes. They also usually have a some form of plant on their body, for example a pink rose on the side of ones head.
•The draconic race have a few variations to their race. They have the red tribe, blue tribe, brown tribe, green tribe and silver tribe. The colours show what element they are connected with. Fire (red), Water (blue), Brown (earth), Green (wind) and Silver (lightning).
The races of this world have there own fighting style that range from only targeting those who are looking to cause harm to kill anything that moves.
Back to the frontlines the war has continued and had only been getting more costly. Since Anna had destroyed the human frontline facing the elves they had been pushed back.
The elves charged out of their trenches after Anna had left and completely wiped out any resistance from the humans. Those that surrendered were taken as prisoners of war but those that resisted were shot and killed.
Since the human forces on the front had been wiped out the reserve force had to be called into action leading to no further reinforcements until the capital sent someone.
Because of this incident the humans had to pull back on their advance into dwarven territory and redeploy them across the front line of the elves.
The elves had found a new source of motivation and fighting spirit which had led to multiple successful attacks on the humans defences that weren't fully prepared.
Since the missions were so successful and the moral of the army had risen so much they had decided to have Anna be their guardian beast as the soldiers called it. They would all believe that Anna had been the Goddess's way of showing her support for them which helped them carry on.
The beast kin had been defending from the orcs the entire time since the war started. They are the third largest race in terms of population and therefore had more manpower to spare. Luckily the orcs could only use swords and the like. They are incapable of using the small firearms that require magic power to work.
However, even though the beast kin have this advantage over the orcs, the orcs make up for it with their ruthless tactics of just sending everyone in to attack no matter the cost.
This tactic although costly did work in some areas. Like that the beast kin would be massacred and the orcs would have fresh food to supply their large army before doing another attack.
The orcs have suffered the largest amount of casualties but because their entire race is built for war they tend not to stay in one place. This is why their territory is so large and the fact that every member of the orc race is a warrior. This means that everyone in their race will be in these attacks, there isn't a need to tend to crops back home or anything of the like.
The conclusion of the war is that no matter which side gains the eventual 'victory' neither side will come out of this conflict like they were before the conflict. The only true winner are the ones that stay out of the conflict or at least join in late. The draconic tribe could very well join in late and take the most glory with being able to snatch territory away from the losers.
What started over a small child with very strong magical abilities has escalated to a war where the world won't ever be the same. And it's only going to get worse with new technology coming into play and with the populations getting lower and lower where they may never recover from.
While this is what is happening Anna sleeps peacefully in the blessed lake and an extremely excited elf makes her way through the world to get to the blessed lake to see her. How this war will affect the two is still unknown but the challenges they will face will soon show its self from the shadows.
