The highly intimidating shout belonged to a woman. 

And it implied a high degree of imminent violence. 

Tycondrius pursed his lips, "Khalkydrius... might I assume you've been acting on *her* behalf?"

"Thy assumption is correct," Khalkyd nodded. 

For as long as Tycon could remember... he had always had an unfortunate tendency for upsetting very powerful women. 

"Khalkydrius," he said. "It appears you highly dislike me."

"I assure thee that is not the case," Khal said impassively... "but I will admit that the situation appears to support thy theory."

And lo, she appeared.

Human-ish. Eight feet tall. Long purple hair. Arguably *beautiful* by common, contemporary standards. 

Tycon tried to ignore her hideous purple-scaled wings. 

She was... far, far more powerful than any dragon he'd come across thus far-- even stronger than the Tyrant God's avatar.
