Kapitel 14: Father, I'm Hungry

The continuous blow from Katakuri shakes the whole room.
"Humans!" the voice was filled with hate as the word came out from the snake's mouth. It didn't expect that the attack from a small human could hurt him. The rain of attacks makes the snake felt that its skull was about to burst open.
Even while it can't move properly because of the sticky mochi in its head, the huge snake uses its long tail to whip towards Katakuri.
The long tail buzzing in the air gives a really dangerous feeling. Lori who was watching the fight knew that with his current condition, it would be bad if he gets hit by the tail. So he immediately carries the huge egg and run towards the corner to watch.
"System, what is that huge snake?" feeling that the huge snake was not ordinary, Lori asked the system.
Ding! Host the huge snake is called Eight-Eyed Corrosive Snake. It is a powerful magical beast that have a very toxic and corrosive venom. The current rank of the snake was Rank AAA, but because it was currently injured. The strength of the magical beast has dropped significantly. But even so, its scales is still very hard and it would be difficult to destroy it. Even someone with a Rank S power will have a very hard time destroying its defense!
Knowing the information about the huge snake, Lori now focused his attention to the huge egg beside him. He trusts Katakuri's ability and power, he knew that he could defeat that huge snake by himself.

Taking out a dagger from his space ring, Lori makes a small cut in his finger. With the blood coming out from the small cut, Lori stretch his finger over the egg and let the blood drops freely from it into the egg.
"Hmm, nothing is happening..." Lori said as he looks at the drop of blood in the shell of the huge egg. But before he could finish his words, the egg suddenly started to shake.
Lori moves away from the egg that started shaking. He could feel that there is something moving inside the egg. The green vines that covered the shell started to retreat towards the bottom of the shell.

A series of crack appeared in the egg and Lori's eyes turned bright. He was excited to see the dragon that will come out from the egg.
The Eight-Eyed Corrosive Snake who was fighting against Katakuri noticed what was happening at the side and an angry roar come from its mouth, "You insignificant ant! How dare you touch this king's property!"
On the eight eyes in its head, three of them were already smashed by Katakuri. However, its tenacity was really great as it can still fight back and defend himself.
"Being distracted in a battle is disrespect to your opponent!" Katakuri took the chance when the huge snake was distracted and jump over its head.
"Grilled Mochi!"
Katakuri's target this time was the crack in the scales in the head of the huge snake.
The snake suddenly felt cold and a very dangerous feeling spread to its body. When it turns around, it saw a burning fist coming towards its head. Of course when the snake saw that, it already knew what its opponent's plan was. However, even if it knew it, the snake didn't have enough time to dodge the attack. It could only hope that its scales are powerful enough to withstand such an attack.
But, would Katakuri launch this attack knowing that it would fail and be blocked by the scales? Katakuri puts a lot of strength in this attack and was confident in his power.

The punch hits heavily in the head of the huge snake. Its tough scales which were already cracked was completely destroyed and the punch went directly to its skull. When it hits the skull, the snake feel tremendous pain and because of the heavy impact. The brain which were protected by the skull was squashed by the vibrations and the huge snake fell to the ground. The remaining five eyes were still open, but there were no signs of life in them.
Suddenly, a green light exploded in the room which covered the whole area.
Lori who was in front of the egg has his eyes close this time because of the bright light. When suddenly, he felt something warm touch his arm. His first instinct was to shove it away. But he felt a powerful grip in his hands that he couldn't even move it.
"Father"
A soft voice called out and Lori with his eyes closed was confused. Because he felt that that word was directed towards him.
When the light slowly fade away, Lori finally open his eyes. Then he saw someone standing in front of him. It was a little girl which looks like 4-5 years old. She has a long green silky hair that reaches to her waist. A pair of slender brows, and a pair of large eyes staring directly at him. He could swear that the young girl in front of him is very beautiful. Especially with her long green hair, it makes the little girl look serene and peaceful.
"Father, I'm hungry" the soft voice of the young girl woke up Lori from his thoughts.
"Did you just call me father?" Lori suddenly becomes dumb when he heard the little girl calls him father. 'Damn! This daddy here is still clean, how can this little girl call me her father'
But then he suddenly realized what happened, 'The egg cracks, the bright light, then a little girl suddenly appearing'
Looking surprised, Lori said, "Don't tell me you're the dragon inside the egg?"
However, the little girl seems to not understand him and just tilted its small head to the side looking very cute.
"Father what do you mean? I'm hungry" the little girl was already pouting clearly unhappy because her father didn't listen to her.
Ding! Host! The little girl is the dragon inside the egg. Because your blood was used to hatch the egg, it is only natural that it will consider you as its parents. The reason is that it can feel its connection to you using your blood!
When Lori heard the system voice inside his head, he replies, "But why did it look like a human? Isn't it supposed to be something like a lizard with wings?"
Ding! Host, although it looks like a human, it can transform into a small dragon. Don't underestimate it even if it is young, the species of this little girl is called Fairy Dragon. It is one of the rare species of dragons and have a very special set of abilities. When it grew older, it will become an extremely powerful dragon that can easily turn a barren wasteland into a forest!
After listening to the system, Lori turns to the little girl in front of him and said. "Since that's the case, then don't call me father in the future. Just call me big brother or something like that. Being called a father is too much for my young heart"
"Father is father, I won't change it" the little girl stubbornly said while staring directly to Lori with her big eyes.
"Father I'm hungry"
Helpless, Lori could only sigh in defeat before taking out some fruits in the space ring and handing it over to the little girl. "I guess you don't have a name. Then I will just call you Mia"
