The moment I managed to slay the Emperor, the sword flew away with the kill as well, as I saw the Emperor's soul agonizingly screaming while being eaten by the blade.

Just what is this plot twist?

I was already tired with dealing with the guy transforming into a Demon, and then his third transformation into a damn mass of flesh!

And now that we are done with him, the sword ends up being the mastermind?!

However, the moment I heard the sword's voice, I tried sensing its power and presence. It was weaker than the Emperor on his prime as a demon, but it was nonetheless stronger than the mass of flesh form, which was actually a deformed form with too much wasteful energy.
