Kapitel 5: First Kill and Meet Reyleigh
Sabaody Archipelago is the final island in Paradise, close to the Red Line. Though it is called an archipelago, it is actually a massive mangrove forest growing out from the middle of the ocean with each tree of the forest serving as an "island" on which people live. Since it is just a group of trees and not an island like those found in the Grand Line, it has no magnetic pull for which to affect a Log Pose.
Due to the place being in close proximity to the part of the Red Line bordering the first half of the Grand Line and the New World, it is a highly visited rest stop for all sorts of travelers to prepare before entering the New World. Aside from its unique environment and it being a booming business hub, it is notable for the World Nobles who visit there and a thriving slave trade supported by them. One notable slave hunting group are the Flying Fish Riders whose headquarters are several kilometers east of the area.
The Sabaody Archipelago is, in actuality, a massive mangrove forest in the middle of the ocean made up of 79 separate trees known as Yarukiman Mangrove. They do not sink into the ocean during high tide like other mangrove trees, and the texture on their barks has such a distinct look that they resemble large candy canes. Each tree is called a grove and serves as an island for which people live on. People can get from one grove to another via the various bridges built connecting around the many tree roots.
The seventy-nine trees are divided into several different areas, with each one dependent on the number of the area. 1-29: A lawless area where pirates and bounty hunters run amok, 30-39: Sabaody Park, an amusement park with bubble-based attractions, 40-49: A tourist area, filled with shops and souvenir stands, 50-59: A shipping area, 60-69: Local headquarters for the Marines, and 70-79: A hotel town.
The location of the mangrove forest is crucial in the travels through the Grand Line due to its approximation to the only two crossing points on this side of the world. Although there are several paths that traverse the equatorial ocean, the only two points that cross to the other side (Mary Geoise and Fish-Man Island) are on exactly the same place, with one at the top of the Red Line and the other in a massive tunnel under the Red Line in the depths of the ocean. Because this is the only point where one can cross into the New World, the location of the Sabaody Archipelago makes it ideal for anyone who needs to prepare to cross this section of the ocean by either means. Thus, everyone from the high-ranked nobles to the traversing pirates use the Sabaody Archipelago as a rest and preparation point as they look back on their previous journeys and prepare to enter the New World.

"This place sure amazing and this mangrove is damn big. now what i should do now ? should i meet reyleigh or just see around first ?"
After thinking i decide to see around first and maybe i can find something interesting so i go around lawless area where many pirate and bounty hunter are and see who know maybe i know or see someone i know. I also try many kind of food from this island. How i have money ? Well i just make it with my devil fruit power since i can make something out of nothing however i'm not gonna tell anyone about this since i don't want wanted to be money maker. I also make some gold so i can exchange it with some money.
while i walked around i happen to hear some interesting conversation from pirates.
"hey did you know in auction house right now they sell a devil fruit"
"Really ?? what kind devil fruit ??"
"hmm if i'm not wrong is paremecia devil fruit {koge koge no mi} it say this fruit has the ability to able create heat orbs that "mummify" the peoples , killing them seemingly by evaporating all the moisture in their bodies."
"Wow that is powerful devil fruit and i'm sure the price also high"
"Yeah starting price is 100.000.000 berry, sure this devil fruit is powerful"
When i heard what the pirate said, i feel really unbelievable because i never heard this kind of devil fruit in the series, and from the application of this devil fruit is like scorch release pakura from naruto world. Now i'm starting to think that maybe many kekkei genkai in naruto world will become devil fruit in this world. Is it because i ask to be able to use ninjutsu from god ? While i'm thinking i see many people were kneeling at the side of the street and i thought maybe this is..
"Tenryubitou"
I see a guy with fancy and aristocrat clothes with balloon helmet to cover his whole head and, while riding a slaves guy that being chained while carry the tenryubitou. While at the back of them there many bodyguard that use some black suit and black glasses and i can guess they are a CP-0 from world government. I feel disgusting by this and plan to kill this guy who they called noble or god but, i never kill anybody or more specific people. However i still don't like the way this pig noble treat anybody like some kind of trash while they it is so, i use my devil power on him and steel myself to kill this pig to see how they will react.
[Vacuum Air]
i focus on the helmet that pig use and create a vacuum air inside it so he will feel suffocate and lose his air to breath. As the result, the pig noble starting twitch and started acting strange because he want to find some air while struggling but it's in vein and fall down from his mount and trembling on the ground like kinda people on fire. After awhile the noble pig die and cause an uproar while i use [stealth] with my devil fruit power and run to another place.
After walk for sometime i decide to go to groove 13 where there shakky bar and reyleigh is and still, i can not believe that i kill a person and that's a tenryubitou. My feeling right now is a bit unstable but try to suppress it with my determination that now i live in the world where you will die if you are weak with unleash a bit of my king haki, so i steel myself and walk to shakky bar.
Arriving in front at the bar with a sign of {shakky's rip-off bar}, with smile on my face i open the door go inside. Behind the bar stood a slim lady with a black short hair and a cigarette in her mouth. Wearing a pink spider paint t-shirt, and over the t-shirt she also wearing a black jacket collar and cuffs similar to the wing of raven. shakky notice me and smile at me.
"{smile} what you want to order young man ?"
"Beer please"
After heard that she went to the back of the bar while i'm waiting for my order. While i'm waiting i notice that Reyleigh was in the corner of the bar while erasing his presence so nobody can see and noticing him. However, my haki is quite powerful itself so after i enter the bar i already know him was there.
"{smile} nice to meet you " Dark King " Reyleigh"
"Ohh you found me brat ?"
"Well you kinda cunning old man"
"hahaha well i'm former pirate so need always on guard though i'm retire already now"
"hahaha well with your record i think even world government want to catch very badly"
While we have our small chat shakky come back and bring my order, and place it in front of me. I took the jar and drink it in all at once.
"Uuuuooohhh really a nice beer thank you shakky"
"Do i know you ?"
"Well you guys do not know me but i know you guys since you guys quite famous"
"hmm so what is your name boy?"
"hm my name is akatsuki ren nice to meet you shakky...and Reyleigh" while looking at reyleigh.
Reyleigh just smile and continue drink his wine while shakky ask me something.
"so ren what are you doing in this island ? Are you pirate ?"
"Just sight seeing and also want to see and meet rey-san"
"Ohh so you want to meet reyleigh ? what do you want from him ?"
"Nah just talk and sparring, maybe become friend who know.."
After Reyleigh heard what i'm said he ask me.
"You want to meet me for sparring ?"
I look at him and smile.
"Yeah i want to train under you and ask more about swordsmanship and maybe about haki"
"hahaha...well ren so you also want to become pirate ?"
"Yeah..i want to enjoy some adventure and find some interesting crew and i can have fun while in my journey and also...maybe i want to have big family who know"
Reyleigh and shakky were like priceless at the end of my word and reyleigh laugh.
"Hahahaha you really something brat and you really like shirohige right now do you want all crew become your family ?"
"Nah..i'm not like that i mean i seriously want to have wives and live happily.{Become serious} That's why i need more strange so i can protect people around me and my loved one." while unleash my king haki.
Reyleigh and shakky were surprise about what i'm saying but they more surprise about my haki. Reyleigh now feel like he was facing shanks when he was still make his way to become one of the yonkou. While shakky surprise and after that calm herself since my haki is not direct it to them. After awhile reyleigh said to me...
"Hahaha you are interesting brat, so you want to become pirate king also ?"
"Nah..i'm not gonna be king of pirate or something because i do not like it."
"Ohh so what you want to do then when you already become pirate ? emperor, find some treasure or something ?"
"{smile} Rey-san, when you become pirate what is something that you really want to pursue ?"
I ask reyleigh this question and wait for him to answer me. Reyliegh surprise at first about my question and smile at me and said.
"Freedom"
"{smile} yes i don't have any have big ambition to be king or something but...i want to be a free man that can do whatever i want and dream anything what i want." i say this with pride and haki king and with confident eyes in me.
Reyleigh look at me and smile and ask me again. "Are you sure ? this path is the most difficult you know you will face the world and you need to fight it to survive."
"{smile wide}That is why i become a pirate is it ? challenge every obstacle and enjoy every adventure..there is no reason to say no to something fun as it is."
Reyleigh heard my answer and laugh hard.
"hahahahahaha yes yes yes that is true that is why i also become a pirate haha...so ren until when you gonna stay in this island..?
"hmm for a year...i waiting for someone to do something big in the year."
"Who"
I did not answer it and just smile because i do not want to reyleigh know what i'm gonna do in the coming year, seeing i'm not answering reyleigh just let it go and continue our little chat and have wasted until night.
