The players were all excited when they heard that there was a perfect ending.

Although some players would say things like 'one of the two will die anyway','the ending is reasonable', or 'there's no need for a happy ending', the players were still interested after seeing the happy ending.

With the video, there was no need to question the authenticity of the ending. The only question was, how was this ending triggered?

After the game was cleared, the players could choose to experience any chapter. Many players were unwilling to give up and tried again in the last chapter, only to find out that Vincent would shoot himself at the end. There was no option to hit the shoulder!
