An engine roared as a car sped down the street at over a hundred kilometers an hour. The reckless laughter of a man and a woman could be heard through the open windows.

Caught completely off-guard, Stacy was hit in the head. The beer bottle didn't shatter, but bounced off to hit Artemis in the face before hitting the ground next to Stephanie's feet.
