Kapitel 14: Teles Village
Because I arrived in the village at dusk, I was invited to stay at Rick's house. Rick's house was made of wood just like that bandit's house, but wider. Arriving at Rick's house, I took out Rick's item. I also asked to satisfy my curiosity.
"Rick, what is this much grass for?
"This grass is one of the ingredients for making potions."
The potion is a type of medicine that has different benefits according to its use. If on earth, maybe Potion is a kind of herbal medicine, with a miraculous effect.
Potions are divided into 4 classes. Low class, Medium Class, High Class, and Special Class
Low-class potions have the weakest effect. That's because low potions usually use ordinary ingredients and can be done even by ordinary people.
Medium class potions have a greater effect than low class. Besides, because the ingredients have been chosen, not just anyone can make it. Only people who have a Class Alchemist can make it.
High-class potions have the most powerful effects compared to other potions. That's because the ingredients make it very rare. You also need high levels to make High-Class potions.
Special Potions are potions that have other used beside Recovery and Buff. Like Love-Potion, Aphrodisiac, Truth Potion. The details for making this potion are unknown. Because usually, the sellers of this type of potion,won't tell anything if they're asked how to make it. So in my opinion, this potion was created by themself.
This potion is an original product invented by a genius Alchemist.
Because the other potion recipes is available when you reach a certain level of Alchemist class. So as long as you choose Alchemist, you can make potion if you have the ingredients and high level. Except for Low-Class Potion though.
You may wonder, where I get this knowledge, but this is knowledge is from the "boy" memories. When he still stays with his family, he provided by a decent amount of books. So I can use his knowledge for the future.
But I sense something odd here.
Why he makes potion in small villages like this?
Not to mention, with a large portion of ingredients, maybe he will make a ton of potion too.
What will he do with a lot of potion?
So I ask him.
"What will you do with the potion, Rick?"
"I will sell them!"
Okay, I got it but who on earth will buy this potion?
This is a small village, so maybe there aren't a lot of customers, but still why he makes so much?
"It seems you want to make a lot of potion Rick, but don't you think it's exaggerating? I mean, your village is small, so maybe you can just make just a few potions right?"
"Oh, because you're new here, you don't know anything huh?"
"Is there anything?"
"A few months ago, we discovered a dungeon near our village. The discovery was already widespread among the adventurer. So recently our village visited by a lot of adventurers who want to clear that dungeon."
Ohhh, on the map doesn't mention about the dungeon, so I don't know anything yet.
"When adventurer dive in the dungeon, sometimes they will get an injury isn't? So selling potion is the best idea!!!"
"Oh, I see."
In other words, Recovery Potion. But potion's effect doesn't instantly though.
Usually, the potion will take effect after a few minutes. But, it's better than nothing.
That is why Role Support has quite a high demand for parties. Because the effect of the skill is immediately felt.
But Healing skill is unlocked, when the user reaches a certain level. Besides that, almost all people who have Support Role, don't have skills for fighting or martial arts like myself. They rather focus to be an alchemist to make money, because that's efficient for them. So Support Role with high rank is rare.
People change their class when reaching Lvl 15, so If you below Lvl 15 you can't change your Class.
There is two type Class which are Regular and Special.
Regular Class is automatically unlocked when you reach Lvl 15 based on your Role.
Here the list :
As for Assaulter Role, they have various Classes like Warrior, Swordmaster, Mercenary, Barbarian, and many others.
As for Magician Role, they can choose Sorceress and Mage. I don't know what the difference though.
As for Defender Role, they can choose Tanker and Barrier Master.
As for Support Roles, they can choose Alchemist and Healer.
But different from Regular Class, Special Class requires several conditions and tasks to get it.
There are a lot of Special classes that still unknown, but here the list that I know.
As for Assaulter Role, they can get Class SwordSaint, Avenger, Magic Swordsman.
As for Magician Role, they can get ArchMage and Witch
As for Defender Role, they can get Paladin and Holy Knight.
As for Support Roles, they can get Paladin and Saint.
Then what class for Special Role like Hero and Apostle?
As for Hero, they already have Class, same as their Role.
As for Apostle Role, they can become Holy Saint.
I planning to take Paladin Class in the future. Luckily for me, I already know the condition.
Because Paladin was this "boy" father's Class. But let's save that for the future.
After that, Rick escort me to an empty room.
"Vin, let's sleep. You can use this room.I'm sorry because this room is dusty. We rarely have guests after all."
"Thanks, Rick, Don't worry about small stuff like that. In fact, I really grateful for letting me stay here.
"Glad to hear that, see you tomorrow."
Then Rick left my room. This room has a lot old stuff. Maybe this toom is used to be a warehouse.
I decided to sleep now.
Because tomorrow will be a busy day.

Tomorrow morning, I already awake. When I leave my room, I meet with an old man who just finishes taking a bath. Maybe he uses water from well. He doesn't look suspicious to me. And then he speaks to me.
"How was your sleep?"
"Very well sir, but may I know who are you?"
"I'm Rick's father."
"Ah, sorry for my rudeness."
Well, I don't meet him yesterday, so I don't know it.
"Can you wake up Rick as well?"
"Yes, sir."
After telling me a task, he enters a room.
I know where Rick sleeps because this house only has 3 rooms. Besides my room and Rick's father's, the remaining one will be Rick's room.
"Excuse me."
After saying excuse, I open the door and enter quietly. Rick is still sleeping.
I shake his body a little to wake him up.
"Rick, wake up please."
With a yawn, he opens his eyes and sees me.
"Ohh Rick, you wake up so early huh."
"Just part of my habit. Your father's told me to wake you up."
"You already met my father?"
"Yes."
"Okay, got it."
Still rubbing his eyes, he wakes up from bed reluctantly. After that, we take a bath with water from well behind the house. When we finish take a bath and get inside the house. Rick's father already prepares meals for breakfast. Only a piece of meat and 2 bread.
"You can eat it. Sorry, we only can afford this, because we poor."
"No, I feel grateful, you can share your breakfast with me. I don't have money, but I have some magic stones. So can I ask you where to sell them?"
"Magic stone? My son said you are attacked in the forest yesterday, is it true?"
So, Rick already told my circumstances with his father yesterday huh.
"Yeah, if the monster doesn't aggressive like yesterday, Maybe I just sleep outside like before."
"I see. For selling magic stone, you need to go to Adventure Guild or Alchemist Guild. But in this small village, there are none of those."
"Is that so?"
Arggh, so I can only sell them to Adventure Guild/Alchemist Guild huh?
What a pain. What will they do if 9 years old brat come and sell magic stone?
They may think I was joking.
"Don't worry. Even though no Adventures Guild/Alchemist Guild, you still can sell them."
Huh, there is another way?
