Kapitel 67: ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED
It seemed that making Nathalia jealous would ever be an option for Aiden anymore, from now on.
Aiden would most certainly take special note of that.
That was for sure.
He would never dare to make Nathalia jealous ever again, lest he was already too tired of living.
To avoid his shaking fingers to be seen, Aiden resorted to scratching the back of his head instead while giving the Queen of Darkness a nervous smile.
"Is that true???" Does it mean that no matter how hard and persistent they try to chase after you, you still won't like them back???"
Nathalia asked Aiden back with a pout, to which Aiden replied hurriedly with so much conviction on his voice.
"Of course, yes!"
Affirmative!!!!
Indeed!
Why would Aiden even dream about being chased by another set of ghosts, right???
It was not as if he had some kind of weird fetish that made him crave the hype of being scared to death.
Having the indomitable chief ruler of the Underworld as his wife was already a terrifying feat itself that was enough to last him for a lifetime.
So why the hell someone with intact sanity like Aiden would even ask for more than what he already had on his plate?
That was unless, of course, if he no longer wished to live a peaceful, mundane life.
"Look, here. I assure you that there is no way I would love hanging out with ghosts, okay? It won't gonna happen. I am not that bored yet to think about such extreme measures just to add some spice on my everyday life."
"Well, you got a point there. It actually makes sense. Alright If you say so... I'll trust you then. I swore to belive your words, anyway since you are my husband. And trust is the foundation of a good marriage. So it is settled then! We're good now"
Nathalia agreed readily and almost in instant, her attitude made an abrupt 180 degrees change.
Her change of character was terrifyingly way too fast, to say the least!
But seeing that the raging Queen of Darkness a moment ago was finally calm now, Aiden was visibly relieved
Lucky him that Nathalia was not like any other girl out there who was so hard to please and deal with once they started to have their tantrums and get jealous.
That at least worked well to his advantage.
But Aiden's relief did not last long, especially so when he realized that Nathalia released not just only him but also the blind ghost who was running after him!
"HEY! W- wai- wait! Why did you let her go??!"
Aiden asked Nathalia with frantic eyes.
It was at that time that Aiden realized that even the Queen fo Darkness could also be foolish at times and he could not help but tugged and pulled his own hair out with that realization.
The seemingly acrobatic blind ghost, on the other hand, resumed into dragging her heavily contorted body that was protruding into weird angles down the empty road.
"HEEELLLPPPP..... HEEELLPPPP MEEEEEE..."
She kept on repeating those same words over and over again just like a broken record played in a loop while she moved on all fours.
And using her hearing sense alone, she was able to follow Aiden wherever he goes.
Driven by panic, Aiden was obviously out to set for a good run again.
But Nathalia held him in place so Aiden was left with no choice but to fidget as he watched the blind ghost approached him.
"What are you doing?! Let me go... This is not the time for a joke!"
Aiden shouted as he used all his might to try and get away from his constriction.
Not knowing that it was the noise that he had been creating all this time that was betraying his presence to the blind ghost.
Unable to hold herself back anymore, Nathalia suddenly had a great idea of shutting Aiden's mouth for good.
With all the courage that she could muster from that limited amount of time that she had, Nathalia closed her eyes and let her instinct do the rest.
Leaning closer to Aiden who was currently bound by her constriction and was left helpless to any form of attack, she gave him a peck on the lips.
Aiden who was in the middle of doing a litany was instantly silenced the moment he felt Nathalia's lips brushed his.
Blood seemed to rush all over Aiden's face after he realized that his first kiss was mercilessly stolen from him and his mind stopped functioning.
This only goes to say that Nathalia's idea was indeed an ingenious maneuver to hush Aiden in no time.
It actually worked like magic!
As if being put by a silencing spell, Aiden was stupefied and was left dumbstruck on the spot with his mouth slightly agape.
"Shhhhh... stay still and be quiet.... she can hear you....."
Nathalia said as if what she just did was nothing but deep inside her, she was already celebrating for her small victory.
