Kapitel 88: Chapter 78
Nozomi lightly smiled. "Ah-ah, Eliichi blew it up. Still, everyone, thank you." She received the gifts with slight shyness seen on her blushing cheeks.
'Seeing her like this is much better he~he.' Eli got surprised seeing her friend with that happy face as she chuckled composedly. The only male in the club was the one that proposed the surprise, so it was this time that she can get some payback after her obvious teasing.
"Hiroto-kun suggested doing this." Eli crossed her arms with a playful smile pointed at her friend.
"Eh?" Nozomi looked at him before humping with a pout.
"Coming from a womani... I mean this kind guy, it's inevitable after learning my birthday." Nozomi said out of nowhere as she felt slightly embarrassed. She doesn't care about her birthday, but it seems this time it affected her inner mind.
"But you are the one that told him." Nozomi pointed at Eli that had turned silent. They weren't furious at each other.
'She just said I'm a womanizer, right? Right?!' He felt speechless, but he didn't say the thought since the girls might show a weird look again.
Maki looked at him weirdly as if knowing his monologue before moving to his side and pinch him stealthily. 'What is it this time?' He sighed inwardly.
"But we will regret it if we didn't know your birthday," Honoka said as the others agreed.
"Then, thank you again for the second time, I appreciate it!" Nozomi smiled gently and everyone felt happy for her.
After Nozomi opened the gifts, the girls were returning to their practice. He got interrupted to leave as Eli and Nozomi seemed to have something for him.
"Can you wait for a moment? I have something to ask... no nevermind." Eli stopped at her words, Nozomi found it interesting.
"No... We have something to discuss." Nozomi waited for his answer. He can't deny her request as he sighed inwardly.
"Okay, then girls go on practice, I'll head later." He said as all the idol club nodded but after leaving, they felt curious about what do they want from him.
"Maki-chan! be careful, the student council might have a plan or something." Honoka said with a joking face, but Maki took it seriously before humping.
"That was I plan to do but even if they don't" Maki crossed her arms. The others rubbed their head, seeing her feisty expression.

"What do you need from me?" He smiled politely. Eli wanted something to him as she closed the door after the others left.
Eli didn't start the discussion before Nozomi sighed and looked at him with a smile and finger-pointing at her face. "Ya, Hiroto-kun. How is it with everyone?"
Nozomi gestured to the chair before he sat on the table, Eli did the same as she just looked seriously in the side. "Thank you for asking, and yes! The group is progressing very well and the new members are also doing well with the training." He said enthusiastically.
Nozomi looked at Eli who was looking down at her papers as if not wanting to ask him, or not wanting to look at him as if a child wanted to apologize to her parents for doing something bad.
"Eliichi? You have something to ask him right?"
'What does she want?' He got intrigued.
"Oya! I forgot I had errands! Sorry, sorry. It seems the kouhai's from the Supernatural Phenomenon Research club needs help.. Even though I am not a part of it." Nozomi said with an apologizing expression while lightly bowing with forgiveness. She winked at him though.
"Wait! Nozomi! You don't have other stuff to do, and you promised to eat lunch here?!" Eli stopped her from advanced, she kinda got desperate as a blushed appeared in her pretty face.
"Mou... Every time.." Eli mumbled as she pouted before crossing her arms while gazing to the side closed eyes.
"Then, Hiroto-kun. Take care of Elicchi for me." Nozomi walked beside him and whispered lightly before dashing out of the scene.
Nozomi was nowhere in the room as Eli become silent, "U-um Eli-senpai… We can talk now." He laughingly while rubbing the back of his head.
'Iyah-h, even though we had reconciled and spoke last weekend, still being left alone with her feels kinda ugh I don't know how to say it... Wait, why I am thinking things like this, anyway.'
"Y-yes!" Eli responded with a sudden tone. It wasn't an awkward being alone here, but seemingly holding back to something. Seeing her like this, he sighed before starting to spoke at her.
"Eli-senpai, don't you know? Our group was getting more popular to this day.." He smiled. She didn't reply, but it calmed her inner thoughts.
"..."
"We know that if our plan doesn't succeed, the school's reputation might get damaged, and that's what you were protecting? But, I feel you had something other to say." He chuckled before seeing Eli looked at him with a smile.
"You really believe in your club members, huh... I wasn't talking going to talk about that." She relaxed before lightly chuckling.
"Don't worry senpai, I know our limits, I know that they will not let down the school's expectations of them. I will not let down the school and your expectations of me. If you are still thinking about it, then I will promise it to you." Hiroto raised his head and said it with a serious and confident expression.
Eli saw his determination, and she slightly blushes in embarrassment. "Your promise is unneeded. It won't affect the changes if they fail... well, I'm not saying that I wish for it to happen." She coughed.
"Ahem, Are you free right now? I haven't eaten yet and also since Nozomi has something to do can you join me?" She changed the topic since she doesn't want to talk about it.
"Then, let's go with everyone." He chuckled before texting the other girls to come and see him join lunch with the student council president.
"Everyone?" Eli asked with a confused expression before he pushed her back and motivated her to come to join them.
They met-up with everyone, Eli didn't saw Nozomi but texted her afterward. They headed to the nearest fast-food restaurant in the school area. Maki looked at him with a questioning gaze but Eli was nearby so can't divulge.
"I wanted to eat some burger again!" Rin imagined as her drool started appearing. Hanayo wanted some rice action again.
"Yes!! Fries, fries~s!"
"I thought we won't be going to fast-food for the coming weeks?"
"Don't mind the details.."
'I haven't had the chance to ask him about that.' Eli was expressionless when thinking about it. Her little sister made her realize his potential and if he could do so, then with his help.
"Eh? You thought you will be alone with me?" Hiroto lightly smiled as he joked.
"Na! That's not it! Geez," Eli embarrassingly turned her head while putting her arms on her back.
Maki glared at him before he felt some chills coming from his side, but he just laughed it out before patting her back.
"It's just a joke, haha!" Hiroto said truthfully. They reached the restaurant before sitting in a long table that had enough chairs for them.
"Oya? This is so coincidence! Can I join?" Nozomi suddenly appeared with a food tray before putting it on their table and sitting alongside Eli.
"Nozomi? Since when did you get here?" Eli asked confused since she just texted earlier. But well, she was like this always, so she wasn't that weirded out.
"They wanted me to teach them about tarot cards prediction but unexpectedly finished soon," Nozomi mysteriously smiled. He knew that Nozomi gave them time together and followed them secretly. So he kept quiet about it since the others met up with them, while he hadn't gotten the chance, so he gave up.
After ordering, he placed his tray and sat beside Maki. "Let's eat now!"
"Why did you invite the student council to join us?" Honoka asked as she felt curious. It was a weird day that Eli doesn't deny their club's forming.
"Don't be rude! Eli-senpai truthfully acknowledged the group!" He smiled and pointed his finger to the air.
"Oh!!" Rin, Maki, and Hanayo got surprised before smiles appeared on their faces.
"Really?!" Kotori said with an astonished face.
"That's good" Umi relaxed and sighed in relief.
"Wait, I only acknowledge you as a group but not yet fully acknowledge it yet," Eli said besides what she wanted to ask him wasn't that.
'I just wanted to ask him to join the council, what's so hard about.....' Eli stopped her thoughts. She learned from Arisa, he was so popular, if he joined the student council, then she can ask him to take part in events that can increase the school popularity albeit, she didn't where to ask him.
"Humph! I knew she would say that!" Nico calmly said as she ate the free burgers given to her.
"But if you lot ruined the school's image, the group will disband immediately," Eli said crossed arms but a slight blush on her cheeks.
"Don't worry Eli-senpai. we created the group to save the school! Besides, we already earned a sizable amount of fans!" Honoka said with a serious expression. Everyone stood up and looked at Eli with proud faces.
'These girls...'
They ate while discussing their next live performance and planned away how the dance would be and planning the song. Eli focused as she seems to have a peek of interest for a bit but when they talk about the dance and training, she seems to lose interest in a slightly foul mood.
After eating their lunch, everyone stood up and cleaned their table before leaving the cafeteria.
"Hiroto, I have something to talk with you... Come to the student council later after their training. Is that okay?" Eli gained some courage to ask him again.
"Yeah, I will go there afterward." He just nodded.
"Hiroto, what did she talk about?" Maki questioned while looking at him as they walk side by side.
"I don't know why she asked me to come again, earlier she.. I don't know what she wanted." He rubbed his chin.
"Even though, you got called? You must be careful with her!" Maki glared at him.
"Eh?"
"That's right, she might come and steal you from us!" Honoka said.
"Honoka... that's a bit.." Umi suddenly had a thought as she blushed.

"Elicchi?" Nozomi said.
"..." Eli was absentmindedly walking as if she did not hear Nozomi's voice. She was thinking about how to ask him, while not being desperate about it.
"Elicchi..."
"Eh? What is it?" Eli looked at Nozomi.
"I called you a few times, but you don't answer. I wonder what you talk about with Hiroto-kun?" Nozomi asked while putting her hands on her back.
"Eh?" Eli looked stunned.
"You're slightly different from usual," Nozomi said.
"Eh? How so?" Eli asked.
"Or perhaps you're thinking about Hiroto?" Nozomi whispered to her ear.
"Na?! What are you talking about?! I am not!" Eli got red with a shy look on her face.
"Oh right. Why do you want to talk with him again?" Nozomi asked. Eli sighed before telling her friend about it.
"I-I wanted him to join the student council. He was only helping the club. Maybe, he can help us." Eli said.
"Student council? I wonder if he will join in? Since he's busy often and he has a club, you know?" Nozomi said. The possibility of him joining was meager since he was busy on his own.
"Yeah, I know.. But we can only know unless we try.." Eli got lightly frustrated knowing the fact that he has no time for being a student council member, maybe he was just idling in the group and helping them time to time.
'Being in the student council is more productive.' She hyped herself.
"Well, if you say so," Nozomi turned somewhat helpless, but she helped Eli.
"There's no harm on trying, but if he joined. It will be more interesting," She chuckled in her mind.
"Are you planning something again?" Eli looked at her cautiously.
"No. That's just your imagination."

He headed towards the student council room again; although he knew that Eli wanted to ask him something, but she kept silent about it. It was weird being called two times in the student council while the school didn't have a class.
Hiroto went inside the room and saw Eli dealing with the paper works while Nozomi was sorting out the papers in front of her.
"Ya, Hiroto-kun. You came again." Nozomi smiled as she greeted him to come in. He sat on an empty chair and gazed at the duo, waiting what they wanted from him.
"Hiroto-kun, would you like to join the student council?" Eli suddenly asked with a serious expression.
'That's what she wanted.' He understood now.
"Even though your group became this popular, it still doesn't change the fact that that the school was still on the brink of closure. You will be a great help if you join us." Eli said with a calm voice.
"I don't mind being a member of the student council, but I will prioritize in helping my group's idol members but..." He thought for a moment, he didn't deny them since they were also thinking about the school situation. Even if they take advantage of his popularity, they won't probably do that, he hoped.
Eli overjoyed. "Really?! Then! " She nodded while she stood up.
"That's great, Elicchi," Nozomi said with a smile
"I have one condition." He said with a smile. Eli's smile again was worth it, but too bad he still hadn't finished his sentence.
"What kind of condition?" Eli asked.
'If Eli and Nozomi helped with the girls, then it might show what they were lacking. I suppose we don't have enough diversity, their help will be better.'
"You and Nozomi must become a member of our group," He smiled while smirking in the back of his mind.
"Eh?"
"Why do you want us to join the group?" Eli asked. She doesn't like idols, and her being one is something she doesn't want to talk about.
"We are still lacking members and if you help, the group might turn more popular!" He smiled wryly as he rubbed his head.
"You think we will be a good idol if we join?" Nozomi curiously asked. She looked at Eli that had a face of refusal but she doesn't want to give up on him joining them. She chuckled at the sight of her friend.
"I think you lack someone good at dancing and choreography!" Nozomi said while looking a little amused.
Eli looked at her with slight irritation. 'What! Is she planning to tell him!?' Nozomi only smiled at Eli and said nothing more.
Aside from singing and the music, dance steps were also hard to think since they don't have anyone good at it. Nico was a manager and a tactical one of that, as she was knowledgeable but she doesn't have other skills aside from motivating kept the group moving.
"Why do you say so?" Nozomi got wide-eyed as she asked him.
"I see it by chance through the internet, U's meaning muse, if meant the 9 Greek goddesses from the greek mythology but there are only 7 right now if you two joined we will complete it right?" He smiled while looking at Eli that had a surprised expression.
Nozomi got surprised by his knowledge. 'To think he knew about it, this sharp-eyed, but maybe he's so….'
"That's ugh-h." Eli was against the idea as she wants nothing from the group but it will cause him not to join them which made her irritated.
"That's why both of you are suitable to become an idol!" He said with an amused expression.
"Elicchi?" Nozomi looked at Eli as she waited for her answer.
"Why do you need my answer?" Eli rolled her eyes as she was against it, but there was no levy if she wanted him to join the council.
"Your decision.." Nozomi smiled at her.
"..."
'But.... he will join if we accepted to join. That will mean that he can actively take part in student council events.' Eli got akimbo while analyzing the consequences, and after a moment she sighed.
"Okay, we will join but..." Eli accepted his condition.
"But?" It seems she also had something.
"But us two will only be an observer and will help the group in need." Eli pointed it out while seriously describing the details.
"You're a hard person, Eli-senpai," He sighed in frustration.
"What do you mean by that?"
