"Lilith!" Gabbro's screamed at her face. "There was one thing! One thing I ask you not to do and you dare do it! And look what happened! You drove our children mad!"

"It wasn't my fault—"

Everyone saw Gabbro raised his hand in the air to slap his wife but stop midway when someone screamed.

"Father no!" Raphaela came to her mother's rescue. She stood between them and pleaded. "No please…"

Gabbro seemed to have woken up from what overtook him when he saw his stepdaughter's begging eyes. Shaking, he put his hands down and tried to calm himself. Both Evangelina and Gabriella dreaded what they saw. They had never seen their father this mad before, so mad to the point of being violent to their mother.

Lilith herself got so scared that she sobbed and hid in her daughter's back. She was shaking hard and after a moment fell on her feet and cried even more. She knew she messed really hard and was hoping her tears could save her.
