Kapitel 109: No More Lies

He hoped that he would be able to kiss her and hold her. Every part of him raged to take her and make love to her, but he couldn't do that to her. He cared for her too much. They had much to talk about.

It was her house, so she was comfortable around it, but Cage didn't know where to place himself. He looked around the room and found that there was no other place to put himself than on the far end of the bed, which was the farthest from her.

No, he didn't want to sit that far away, but he knew that she needed some space to process what was happening.
