Kapitel 14: Lo and Behold the New Model of K.M.A.
Lorenzo's POV
My wife seems to grow bolder as time passes, and I like it. If I knew I would have gotten a kiss on the lips as a reward for making Luna a model I would have done it long ago. Her lips felt so soft on mine. I could kiss her for all my life and I wouldn't get tired of doing it. Plus, seeing Luna's crimson face running to the bathroom was so CUTE! She even locked the door. I would have wanted to knock but decided otherwise— to give her some space. It was already almost 2 P.M. so I had to go back to work. I sighed quietly before leaving the room.
~Night Time~
As I was parking the car, I noticed all the lights were already turned off. I made sure to come home extra late so that Luna would most definitely be already asleep. I know she would obviously try to avoid me, so too avoid that scene I decided to wait a bit in my company office and finish more proposals for the day.
When I entered our bedroom I saw Luna fast asleep on the bed. Wanting to immediately lay beside my wife, I skipped the night shower and just changed my clothes. Looking at her closely, she seemed to be deep in her slumber. Not wanting to wake her up, I gently lifted the sheets and steadily laid myself beside her.
The moment my body was tucked in I immediately placed my arm around her waist making her fumble a bit —even trying to remove my arm from her. Though she tried to remove it I just held her there and to my delight she calmed down after a while and I was free to sleep comfortably. My wife always looked innocent and vulnerable in her sleep, urging me to want to always protect her. The last time was a close call but it still affected my wife greatly, now that I have her by my side I'm never letting anybody hurt my wife!
~The Next Morning~
Luna's POV
When I woke up from my beauty sleep, it was already the next day! That means I slept through dinner? Oh gosh! The other proposals I had to check! Looking around the sunlight lit room, I was expecting Lorenzo to be gone for the day but shockingly he was still in bed with is arm around me. Realizing the gravity of what I had done yesterday made me blush like a tomato. I'm not complaining nor regretting what I had done but it was just too embarrassing! Whiles I was having a dilemma in my mind, I suddenly had the urge to pee. Still incaged in his strong arms I shook Lorenzo awake. When he finally woke up, he looked at me like I had just stepped on his favorite toy before changing into a sweet sleepy smile.
"Hi Beautiful!" He greeted me in a husky voice.
"I need to pee!" I said frantically trying to remove his heavy arm from my waist.
"Oh sorry! Here you go," he says while finally removing his arm from my waist. Making me dash for the bathroom almost stumbling on the way making him chuckle.
When I was done, I decided to cook breakfast for the two of us while Lorenzo got ready for work. Compensation number 2 in a row. Hehehe!
I cooked pancakes and bacon strips, roasted coffee beans and set the table. As I looked at my finished table I smiled to myself before calling Lorenzo to come down. We both ate in awkward silence. No one spoke maybe because we had nothing to say or that we were just hungry but no one said a word. All the food soon was gone with only the dishes as proof of food ever being there—someone has a big appetite I guess.
Usually when we finish eating we clear the table and go about with our own day but today was different. As I stood up to clear the table, Lorenzo stopped me saying to just leave it to the maids and to follow him to his office.
Inside his office he handed me my schedule and a car key. He directed me to take his BMW car to go to the agency. There I would meet with my assigned modeling manager/assistant Casy. And even though she is very knew in the agency, Lorenzo saw potential in her—making him appoint her as my manager. Lorenzo also explained that if I ever needed anything I should immediately call him. If I had questions I should immediately contact him. If I was injured I was to notify him immediately. If I was harmed in anyway he would have no choice but to hire a bodyguard—which I wouldn't like. I think I'm starting to see why my father likes Lorenzo. He's so concerned why me, like a father.
Soon after our mini meeting he was called in for a business meeting. While he left for his work, I on the other hand got ready for my work. It was my first day so I should make a good first impression if I wanted to crush the competition.
A car ride later, and here I am waiting for Casy to meet with me to discuss our schedule. According to my watch she is already 5 minutes late —nothing too bad. Then finally I see a small young girl rushing to me with papers in her hands, a messy hair do, and a bright smile on her face.
"Hi! I'm Casy Cervantes! Sorry I'm late it was just so traffic. It's so nice to meet you Mrs. Khan," she said shaking my hand continuously.
"It's fine! Nice to meet you too Casy—can I call you that? And you can just call me Luna. I don't really want people to know I have connections to the Khan's so can you keep that a secret?" I said ending the hand shake with one last firm one.
"Of course Ma'am! We can discuss your schedule upstairs if you like Ma'a—Luna"
"Sure, lead the way,"
~Time skip~
"So Luna, we have a photoshoot with Mr. Dru 2 days from now. The theme is 'Richness'. I heard that another model was suppose to be doing it, but Ms. Cervantes suddenly pulled out. So you will just replace her. You will also be doing it with a male model but on who it is, it has not yet been released," she said showing me the samples. Looks like you just turned down a pretty good job offer Lily. Too bad you're too tacky that you just thrown a diamond in a pile of coal.
"Are you up for it Luna?" Casy called for my attention.
"Yeah sure!" Watch out Lily, because I'm gunning for your throne. 😏
