"And I thought you weren't interested in getting a disciple, Master Lin," Elder Qing mused, walking with me to the Grand Courtyard.

"Haha, I was, it's just that you came to call me at a rather bad time."

I had to keep reminding myself that he was not the current Sect Master.

"Ah, Master Lin! Elder Qing! You're just in time! We are just about to start!" Sect Master Long greeted us.

Yeah, you're still alive here. I feel like your death was quite anticlimactic to be honest. Even if I could revive you back in my original timeline, I don't think I would be doing it anyway, sorry.

He smiled at me and I already knew what he was going to suggest before he even opened his mouth.

"Master Lin, how about you start the newcomers off with a few words?"
