Tomorrow is the 21st day after the fall of the Jade Phoenix's kingdom. Wei Yue gathered his subjects around him. Tomorrow is the Qixi festival and it's the perfect time to rebuild the kingdom with the help of the Dragon Blade.
"Friends, today, I shall rebuild the Jade Phoenix empire with the help of our new ally, the kingdom of Dragon Blade."
Wei Yue made way for King Fu to speak. King Fu stood at the pedestal replacing Wei Yue in his stead.
"I, King Fu shall made an announcement of decorum. In accordance to the old traditions of kingdoms, the alliance shall be made by the wedding of two persons that upholds high honor of bravery and chivaldy from different kingdoms regardless of background, fame and influence.
Representing the Jade Phoenix's Kingdom, a woman that stood alongside the king's abode displaying her bravery and chivalry in battle, The Jade Phoenix's Vice General... Li An...
And representing the Dragon Blade's Kingdom, a man that stood by my side displaying his fearlessness and upholding justice amidst the confusion, my son... Zhang Xiaoxing."
The crowd from the lower section of the kingdom applauded in glee. The wedding will be tenfold as grand. Everybody expected delicious delicacies, wonderful music and festival of lights and liquor.
Wei Yue excused himself from King Fu. He will rebuild his kingdom in time for the grand wedding.
"King Fu... I must excuse myself. I needed to rebuild the kingdom in time for the wedding."
"Ah yes. Take my best builders with you."
"Alright."
"Ah Wei Yue, according to the old scriptures, the wedding must be held by escorting the bride to the groom's kingdom."
"Ah yes, I would never forget that."
"Ha. It'd be a shame for a king like you not getting kinky on one of my subordinates eh."
Upon hearing King Fu's words, Wei Yue's face turned blue. He recalled the horrendous things that he saw inside the 'cursed room'.
'Bleh.'
Wei Yue fakes a smile as he walked away from King Fu.
'I think I'm gonna be sick.'
→A/N: LOL WEI YUE. You're an immortal, immortals don't get sick dufus.←

Meanwhile, Feixian waited patiently for Yingluo to wake up. Tears came rolling down of his face. He thought that he was going to lose her that night. A painful memory visited his mind... It was the prophecy from the celestial cave...
Feixian shook of the thoughts and reverted his sight back to Yingluo.
After a while, Yingluo awakened desperately gaping for air. She held her chest. Feixian reached for a glass of water and gave it to Yingluo.
She drank the water and went back to lay on her bed. Dark circles visibly showed from her eyes. Feixian noticed it and asked her...
"Are you sure you're alright?"
Yingluo smiled and tried to act cheerful amidst her condition.
"Hey look General Hua! I'm strong as a carabao! I won't get defeated that easily."
'Liar'
Deep inside Feixian knew.
Yingluo was punished because she killed a Tian Lang. If she'll kill Zhuge Liang, then...
She'll die...
And he'll be alone...
"Yingluo... Promise me that you would never use your divine powers again."
"Huh what? Of course not... Why would I?"
"Please. Promise me..."
He wrapped his arms around her and buried his head on her shoulder.
Completely hidden from Xian Hua's sight, tears started forming at the sides of Yingluo's eyes. It was like a knife struck to her heart. An indescribable feeling instilled deep inside. It wasn't remorse for what she had become, but for what her future holds... It was pain, anxiety and helplessness mixed together.
"I— I promise."
Yingluo returned the same hug. They were in the same intimate moment for a time when, Moxiao knocked on the door and opened it...
"Sis, Bro... We've got to go."
"Ah, Moxiao... Alright, We'll be there."
Moxiao nodded and left the room. Yingluo smiled at Feixian. She wanted to tell him what she feels. But...
Fear enveloped her. She could do nothing but to smile the pain away.
"Feixian... Remember the day when I first met you?"
"Yes?"
"You were... You were like a sunshine."
"Why do you say so?"
"My life was dark until you came and brought light into it."
Yingluo stood up and teased Feixian with her legs. She pushed him on the bed and pulled up her robe.
"Y—Yingluo! You're still unwell..."
"If you don't give me, I'm going to be unwell."
"Hmm... Ah—"
Feixian stood up and went to the door and locked it shut. After a while, from outside the door, muffled moans of a man and woman can be heard.
Wei Yue went to the cursed room and heard again the cursed sound. His bird eyes went big and stepped away from the room.
'Not again. Maybe I'll just bring Moxiao and LanRong with me. They're always busy making those horrifying screams.'
Wei Yue shook his head as he headed for the stairs leading outside the castle where LanRong and Moxiao's cavalry of builders and tinkers await.

After miles of journeying, Wei Yue and his cavalry of builders reached the entrance of the ruined kingdom. Refugees camped tent outside the kingdom which caught Wei Yue's attention.
The Refugees begged food as they passed by the poverty-stricken malnourished people. Men and women were thin as bones and newborn children are pitiful to watch.
Wei Yue could not harbor the feelings of pity inside him.
'My poor people... I shall give you back your freedom and restore your happiness once more.'
Wei Yue was so lost after seeing his people suffer the rubles of war.
'If only I could do something.'
His concentration was then disturbed by a man tugging his royal robes. Wei Yue did not raise away the hood on his head for him not to frighten the man away.
"Alms. Please... My family and I were starving for days. Please spare some food."
"Man, how long did you and your family starve?"
"After the kingdom fell, we have no more to eat. Every supplies ran out so we relied on eating what's left of the crops and at times, we would eat the flesh of people who have recently died."
"That's horrible. Tell me, If I told you that I'm the Jade Phoenix's Emperor, would you believe me?"
The man laughed. Although he was barely skin and bones he managed to give off a sheer laugh.
"The Jade Phoenix Emperor? Are you nuts? The Emperor is already dead. If he's alive, then he should've came back here after he—"
The man stopped speaking as Wei Yue raised his hood. His visage indeed frightened the poor man which sends him falling on soil of the ground.
"M—Monster..."
"This is the Jade Phoenix's curse. If you noticed that my father never had this curse, it was due to the fact that he had married my mother."
"So, are you not married?"
"NOT IN MY WHOLE ETERNITY!"
"A— calm down. Alright, If you're the Emperor, can you provide food for us?"
Looking at the tents of the refugees, Wei Yue counted them all on his mind. They're many but maybe the Jade Phoenix's power can be used for benevolence.
Wei Yue raised his staff in the sky which gave off a greenish-blue light. After a while, fish rained down from the sky making the people ran and caught the fish with their buckets. The rain of fishes lasted for an hour which filled the people's buckets and stomachs with enough food to eat.
The man approached Wei Yue once again carrying a little girl on his arms.
"Thank you, your highness. Without you, maybe my daughter and I will never survive for another day."
"It is my honor to serve my people and to set them free."
Wei Yue whipped his horse and went on leading the builders and tinkers.
The renovation of the kingdom lasted for a day. Moxiao instructed the builders to renew the hall that had been destroyed while LanRong made sure to distribute the supplies and foods for the men who helped rebuilding the kingdom.
The refugees soon helped them making the renovation more convenient and fast.
Alas, the kingdom had been rebuilt anew. Wei Yue's heart almost fluttered in the air seeing his people move in back to the kingdom that they knew.
Bringing floating lanterns, they all celebrated for the kingdom's rising. Every people in the kingdom rejoiced after their Emperor showed up. As a pretense to the celebration, Wei Yue let the people partake of a big feast which he prepared with Moxiao and LanRong.
The air of the night has been filled with laughter, happiness and success.
The Jade Phoenix stands once again and never again it will fall.
