Kapitel 307: Zennie’s resolve and Eman’s bewilderment

Everyone was staring at him. Without even voicing out their thoughts, he could tell what was in their minds. They were hoping he would grant Zennie's request.

Eman opened his mouth to stop Zennie's action.

"You don't need to lower your head, Miss Zennie. I understand your situation. Alright, I see what I can do, but I can't guarantee success. I will try to contact that merchant but give me one day. If it's fine with you."

Hearing what he said, everyone's faces were filled with joy.

"Y-Yes, of course. Thank you very much, Lord Eman!" Zennie said enthusiastically.

Eman formed a friendly smile. "In exchange, can we just call each other without honorifics?" It was the second time he asked this.

For some reason, after hearing that, Zennie's face turned slightly red suddenly. Eman wondered if it was weird to ask that. Isn't it more friendly to call each other by their given names only? He thought.
