Kapitel 12: Unwinding

I laughed nervously as I wiped the apple in my jacket to get rid of the dust and carefully set down and sat in my seat, all the while he was looking at me. "You know following orders and executing them play a keen role in our battle against the creatures that have plagued our world" He started as he sat down in his seat. He took up his apple and looked at, almost as if he was searching for something. "But for those that can't follow simple instructions, well, who knows what kind of faith awaits them" He finished as his eyes glowed golden yellow once more. I watched as the apple lost it's color before gradually deteriorating. I looked at Hope who was nibbling on her bottom lips nervously and I too was starting to get nervous. He then placed the apple or what was left of it in the trash and packed up his stuff. "That concludes our time together so I suggest that you find yourselves in your dorm rooms before the clock strikes 5" He says as he took up his key. Hope and I were the first ones out and we speedily walked down the hall. In both our earshots we heard him telling persons to wake up which resulted in Hope and I full on sprinting down the hall. We reached our dorm rooms and started laughing hard. Hope ended up wheezing as she was breathing hard from running for so long and laughing did not help. "You good?" I asked as I started calming down. Hope held up her index finger before nodding her head.

"Yea, it's just, when he called them to wake up, the only thought in my head was, OH SHIT'" She laughed out as I joined her. I took deep breaths and calmed down as she did the same. "We should head inside, I'll text you" I said as I opened my door. She nodded and got in her room as I did the same. The first thing I did was fall face first in my bed, which felt really good, I almost moaned. Still lying on my bed, I kicked off my shoes and sigh as I thought, 'Oh wait, can't sleep until I shower'. I groaned as I got up and dragged myself to the bathroom before turning around and going for my clothes which I forgot. I got a simple long sleeve shirt and pants, both made out of the softest of cotton. I brushed my teeth even though I ate nothing and showered before I realized, I ate nothing. I went to the mini fridge which I thank god is provided for us because I don't think the cafeteria is open at these times. I opened it and saw a couple milkshakes and energy drinks, along with a slice of pizza and some fruits. I decided to have one of each because, why not? I took out my phone and started watching a series that I just got into.

As I was eating, the door opened and a guy walks in and kicked his shoes off, rude. He then, without acknowledging me, jumped in his bed, rude. Then this guy turned off the room lights without my consent, I feel like he was asking for his ass to get whooped. I turned on back the light and he got tense and turned to look at me, almost shocked, did-did this asshole forget that he had a roommate? "Who're you?" He asked. My eyes twitched as I calmly sat back down on my bed.

"Your new roommate, we literally just met a couple hours ago" I responded. He then nodded his head got back to falling asleep. I then took a energy drink and threw at him, he grabbed his back in pain as he glared at me. "You care to tell me why you assault me in my sleep?" He asked as he rubbed his back. "Yea, um, could you maybe take a shower before you go to bed?" I asked nicely. He looked at me as if I had grown two heads but look, my mom was the type to drag you to the bathroom if you haven't yet taken a shower before going to bed so you could say it rubbed off on me. He sighed as got up and headed to the bathroom, I waited until I heard the shower turn on before smiling and got back to what I was doing. He got out the shower, no top, towel around his waist, walking around as if it's the most normal thing thing in the world. As he turned around, I noticed the tattoo on his back, that made my eyes sparkle. "Oh my god, that's an awesome tat, who designed it? Who gave it you? Did it hurt? How long have you had it" He looked at and raised an eyebrow. My eyes went as I realized I lost my cool, I folded my arms and cleared my throat. "I mean, who cares anyways" I heard him chuckle as I put down my empty dish of food and calmly went to my bed, where I covered my self with my blanket, to hide away my embarrassment. I heard him shuffling and when it was finished, I felt someone tap my blanket of shame. I peeked out as he gave me a card, I took it and saw it was a business card. "The guy that gave me the tat" He simply said as I take the card.

I nodded and went back under my blanket when I heard him chuckle. I heard the lights turn off and I sighed when I heard him say, "Goodnight roomie". I said nothing as I slept like a baby.

The next morning, I got up when I saw him looking around for something. I rubbed my eyes as I asked tiredly, "Hey, what are you doing?". He looked at me before got back to searching.

"Looking for my name tag, have you seen it?" He asked as he looked for it, almost panicking.

"Ah, f**k my life".
